Intel Core Ultra 9 285k 'Arrow Lake' Discussion/News ("15th gen") on LGA-1851

it is free basically. i just use fake dollars conjured up out of nowhere. just add it to the global credit card bill.
Global public debt is projected to go above $100 trillion this year.

I think loyalty was buying a bulldozer chip, back in the day. but that time is in the past.
it seems intelco. are attempting a chiplet design. yeh viewing the comments/numbers. could just as easily go a 14700/13700. with a bit of coolalering.

I bought bulldozer this was before I was joining forums and not knowing , not made that mistake since be it intel or AMD, but generally mostly been AMD buys :)

Intel fixed the power consumption but regressed in performance.

Yep. Multicore does look OK in most reviews, gaming is step backward but they got improved performance/watt

Seems pretty buggy at the moment, need to ensure certain things are set to get best performance (in Windows and/or motherboard bios if ASUS), and various issues need fixing. Released too early maybe. Similar story to AMD's launch really.
except AMD didn't need to fix the power and performance didn't go backwards
