Intel to launch 6 core Coffee Lake-S CPUs & Z370 chipset 5 October 2017

Oh please.

And L3 cache is pretty important for games, look at the R5 1400 vs R5 1500 for example.

Skylake-X having spotty gaming performance is probably also due to its new cache hierarchy instead of the mesh.

Lol at calling my by name as if your my parent and I'm in trouble lol. They may do, doesn't change the fact you pull "facts" from your arse.

Facts... please point out these facts Gavin. Show everyone how bad a person I am.

Gavin, if you want to keep posting nonsense and making a fool out of yourself no problem. Just keep me out of your posts and stop quoting me.

Lol your pair of morons. There needs to be a mix. No point in having a 7ghz dual core is there? Likewise there's no point in having a 10 core at 2ghz
8 threads of 4.5ghz is the sweet spot for gaming. My opinion of course.

No need for insult name calling, lets leave that sort or crap out of these arguments.

Need I repeat the things that have been said so far?
We've had the 1700 has the same performance as a 6950x
Ryzen has kabylake IPC
L3 cache doesn't matter for games
Ryzen 1600 is 90 % faster than a 4690k at 4.5ghz

How many of those came from me? You keep saying I'm posting rubbish, show me where I have and we'll discuss it.

Really? I mean I can if you'd like but we both know they have been thrown around by you and humbug.

Here's one

Now, where am I posting rubbish?

So thats not what your making out is it Gavin. Please link to that thread so the full context can be seen. I await the other links.

Enough, the CPU section of the forum is quickly becoming more toxic than the graphics card section. Anymore personal insults will result in suspensions.

The i5-8400 I have on order is due to leave on Friday 6th, to arrive with me in the UK on Mon 9th. I've yet to be told otherwise, but sometimes Taiwan/China shipments gets pushed due to Apple hogging all the bloody cargo space when there is a new phone launch, but that's looking unlikely this year since the 8/Plus looks like it has limited demand, due to the X appeal. :D
