Intel to launch 6 core Coffee Lake-S CPUs & Z370 chipset 5 October 2017

So your suggestion is we dont play games that are not well optimised?
Tell that to PUBG and ARK players.
Your really not getting it Gavin I'm struggling to understand where you are coming from mate. For the um tenth time, if you can play a game absolutely fine then why would it matter to you, unless it was for the sole purpose of epeen bragging rights?

Or you know, the hardware just doesn't have the performance the game needs, in this case, single core performance, which makes that certain hardware choice not a really good one for gaming.

You just pointed out how well Sandybrige is doing and are now arguing Ryzen hasn't got enough single threaded performance when we know Kabylake and Ryzen are neck and neck with anything else you'd like to mention.

Less than 2 pages and back to making silly arguments.

Stop buying games that can't make use of the hardware you have then.

So don't play games that don't play nice on AMD?

Again, I play at 165hz, when kaby can do 170 vs ryzens 120 then it kind of is a big deal. In destiny's case, ryzen cannot feed a 1080ti fast enough.
Whats going to happen with a 1180ti?

Yes, when sandy is neck and neck with ryzen there is an issue.
But do we just hope for devs to fix it? Or hope that future releases don't have that issue?
Buying on hopes is madness.

Lol and I've seen them pull up others for unnecessarily defending product choices.

I've got absolutley no problem with someone recommending a 8700k or a ryzen, but to try and make out a ryzen is not fit for purpose is complete nonsense.

So for you it's a no brainer. We get that but how many are playing on a 165hz monitor? For those who are not it's meaningless.

Lol but why is it neck and neck? And when it's neck and neck with ryzen it's also neck and neck with newer Intel cpu's.

No Gavin. Don't buy games that can't make use of your hardware and then moan that the hardware is crap...

If the average PC user applies the same kind of defeatist thinking to purchases as you then the PC will fall behind the console as a gaming platform.

No, the 2600k is nowhere near the 7700k. It is however, in the screens andrei posted faster than the 1800x. Which it shouldn't be but who's going to fix that?
Whats saying we aren't going to see it again? Very hit and miss performance with ryzen and gaming.

So buy ryzen and hope game devs can make use of my hardware? Or get intel and know that the i7 will be at the top?
