I mean basing things purely on appearance is a bit shallow and probably quite flawed. A girl who's no.1 priority in life is looking good will likely be rather self absorbed. Then again that fat chick has taken it to the other extreme, fair enough some people might be into big girls etc.. but generally to let yourself go that badly at what looks to be a relatively young age says a lot too. Basically some lazy, bone idle, slob who'd got nothing better to do with her life than sit on the couch watching TV, scoffing takeaways and going for a binge drinking session at the end of the week.

Or: genetic. Prettier generally = better genes & takes care of herself = healthier = better candidate for child raising. Not shallow!

Nope, if you dont like what you see, it's as simple as that.
You can't explain it, it just is. just like taste, smell, everyone is different and it's as simple an answer as yes or no.

Do I like what I see? No and she could have the best personality in the world to me but the looks just make me want to ctrl-k.
First and foremost I need to be happy with what I see before I look for a decent person inside, it does not work the other way around at all, ever. (for me)
