Internet Dating.....Who Has Done it?!

Just out of curiosity, how long before do you wait before you ask if they want to go on a date?

It's usually about 2 weeks for me but I think it's getting a bit silly to wait that long as I'd much rather talk in person than over the internet.

Two weeks!!! Jesus I got bored of talking to them after a few days. They're not on there for conversation, just ask once you run out of interesting stuff to talk about.

Easiest line is just to say, You sound great and I would love to know much more, but if I do we won't have anything to talk about on a date. Would you like to go for a drink (or whatever you choose) with me!

I'm not so good at doing the asking, but I've grown some balls since I've used pof. maybe they just need to be a little bigger :D.

It depends. Last night was my quickest ever. 4 messages, arranged date and got number!! :D

Meeting on Wednesday.

how can you not be bored messaging online after 2 weeks without meeting up? obviously it depends on each individual, some may need a little longer before meeting a random guy online, however if it's more then a few days imo i'd prob start losing interest, and not because they're a boring person, just because the whole point is to meet up and have these exact conversations face to face.

it's simply a message. copy and paste the above and click send, you don't need balls for that, it takes balls to then finally meet up with them.
 
Shock as people can talk for over 2 weeks without getting bored! You guys get bored easily, are very dull or are simply talking to very dull people.

From my experience online dating Id say its much duller chatting online for 2 weeks, than just arranging a date and going to meet them in person, and I've known plenty of women who think the same. If I wanted a penpal I would get one.

However Zefan, maybe you're the type of guy who can't meet a girl until he's had cyber sex at least twice. Each to their own I guess. ;)
 
Head to old street, shoreditch or brick lane area, lots of bars there. I think there is a ten pin bowling place in brick lane too.
 
I like how people happily post their own profiles to be checked over but very few actually share with us pervy folk the women they are chatting to. Fear of competition :D

Because no one here is chatting to anyone. if we posted everyone we'd message you might as well just look on pof yourself and search for girl as the list is as big as that.

If youre genuinely interested in a girl then the LAST thing you want to do is post her profile link here for all the chumps to see. All it would take would be some malicious twit messaging her the wrong thing and then chance blown. Competition ((or lack of) has nothing to do with it. :p

Yes several times, and you know what it counts for nothing when you meet them. More often than not they don't look as great in person. Any number of reason can put you off a person, hot or not.

Met girl 7 today but was a different 7 than it was supposed to be. :D

Going out again on Saturday.

Still got 2 other potentials who have agreed to a date but not sure if they will happen. Could be busy times! :D
