Call me a cynic but making someone wait an hour on a first date (and there's not like there was an emergency) sounds like a test to see if you behave like a good little lap dog.

ok im sorry u feel like that i no im not perfect i couldnt really not have my nephue he is a big part of my world and like i said my life is a bit messed up with stuff that has happend etc . i like to b honest with a guy i dont want.them thinking i dont want stuff in my life caus i wouldnt wanna get involved with them only to.find.out they hate the fact i want a future . im really sorry bout the.meeting.thing my sis in.law never done that before i dont even.no y she did it today but she is family. im very gratefull that u made the effort to come and c me im.sorry i totaly buggerd it up i hope u find the rite girl for u and i really am.sorry bout today

Oh dear, she can't even type a cohesive response! That style of writing would infuriate me. If somebody can't be bothered to use proper words then they aren't worth the time.

It looks like you've dodged a bullet there chap.

If you like her, you should see her, have a bit of fun. Stuff doesn't always have to be serious.
 
I was sort of tempted to have a bit of fun, i'd be in charge of condoms without a doubt:p But she clearly has been messed about with, and i didnt want to do that too her.

my thought was exactly as yours, and tbh she brings it on herself. you start thinking see where it goes, she makes it clear it'll clearly go no where good, so you think might as well just have a quick bit of fun with each other for a while, but sounds that she gets too hurt by it so save her the bother.

the full stops will be because she's on a mobile and is hitting the wrong key. i do/did it all the time. most annoying thing about swift key is i press the backspace key instead of the m key so i often write completely stupid messages.

As soon as i arrive at the town i get a text saying she is having lunch with her sister in law can we meet in an hour. Cue me going for a bit of walk and then a couple pints down the pub. I meet her an hour later in a cafe with the eight month old nephew. Talking to her was very easy, she did seem very friendly and i wasnt nervous at all it was like ive known her for ages. I offered her a coffe but she already had one and a jacket potato with her sister in law, so that left me thinking guess we wont be going out for lunch.
I learned quite a bit about her, but she didnt seem to ask much about me.
She made it clear that she wants to be married and then children, so at least shes old fashioned. She also told me about her ex's which have all been horrible to her from mental and physical abuse to cheating on her so shes after a nice man.

After all this sitting here typing, im still tempted to go out with her again. Ideally with no nephew.

trust issues guaranteed + you will get compared to them all the time IF anything comes out of this.. plus she really doesn't look serious at all.. more like "just' friendly.. would be my first and last date.. :o
 
Well as i sat downstairs watching the Expendables 2 ive mulled it over in my brain, i have done the right thing.
Hopefully i might get another bite from another woman soon, ive got another reply from someone i messaged back about 4 days ago so we will see.
