You know I said on the previous page she seemed "mad as a box of frogs" on our first date.... well it turns out SHE IS.
Stark raving stir fry crazy.

How I now get out of this mess without her going all suicidal I do not yet know.

My advice, stay away from internet dating, they are all broken! :D

ok just joined. never done this online dating malarkey. What do you first talk about to break the ice. I've got 2 messages from hot girls introducing themselves and asking how i am , now once i say how i am what the hell do you talk to a random stranger on the internet about?

advice and tips welcomed.
 
I've joined a crap load of sites recently and to be honest it's actually been quite a laugh, no meets so far but it's nice to talk to different people.

Find a common interest? What music she likes or films etc.

Just be yourself, find a common interest. Pick something out on their profile to talk about?

Tbh, you're doing better than me, I don't get messages, and if I do they're from hippocrocopigs hah.
 
I've got another date tonight with a newbie. I backed off a little bit over the last Month or so as it was getting expensive lol.

Tonights victim seems nice so moral is currently high!

So ask her, you are new to this.. another subject to talk about.

Stop asking for general opinions and be yourself.

I've avoided any sort of dating for a while now, last girlfriend was absolutely bat**** mental, was secretly trying to get pregnant and ended up costing me a fortune... :mad:

I have tonnes of girl mates though, I do enjoy female company, just not keen on the idea of anything more right now. Far too many other things demanding my time to make any sort of commitment! :p

If I didn't have any morals, I'd rent by the hour.

after my ex left 3 years ago and ran off with another bloke leaving me with 3 kids and a rather large mortgage I was on dating sites within days... rebounditis

I didnt fancy going to pubs/clubs plus didnt have the dosh or time. Anyhow after several short term relationships (6months x 2 and 1 x 4 month) I gave up for a year and decided to stay single

recently I have met someone via POF even though I wasnt really looking per se and it is absolutely awesome, we are so similar in nearly every way and just cliqued immediately.

we both have kids and are of similar age (I am 38, she's 37) so we are being sensible and not rushing things but at the same time we both cant hold back our feelings for each other.... we are like a pair of courting teenagers :D

We have met each others kids but have no plans to force them together plus making the most of having time together without them. I havent been happier for a very long time and almost definitely feel I have met the 'one' (scary lol)

there are a lot online with issues but then I also realised I had plenty of my own hence the year gap. There are also plenty who are really nice and totally genuine so all in all its a big thumbs up from me

I am now looking forward to what the future may bring instead of being a miserable sod stuck in a daily grind

If you can'to hold a written a conversation then I would delete your account from the written-based communication website asap.
 
ask them how come they decided to try internet dating and how have they found it so far or pick up on something from their profile to prove you have actually read it and are interested in them as a person not just their pics :)
