How does he/she know who you have been talking to though? Unless they have access to your account then there isn't a way is there?!?
 
How did you find out this "persona" was contacting the women you'd been speaking to, did one of them tell you? Was anything malicious said about you etc?
 
Yeah one of them asked me - quite understandably - what the hell was going on. Received a link to this thread and a few choice quotes from yours truly.

On one side, it's great to know I make such a lasting impression :)

Do you access POF from your phone? It could be someone has looked on your phone at who you have talked to etc?

I asked if anything malicious was said because if it was then you're looking at someone with a grudge, if it was jokey stuff said then it was a mate with access to your account
 
I do, but the app is blocked on my phone by the provider, so I only get the push notifications though. I'd say it's only likely to be someone white knighting, or someone with a grudge.

I'm not too fussed either way, I'm renowned for being wholly inappropriate. Just doing my civic duty by letting you all know that there's a somewhat weedy spy amongst us.

I find the meet me section to be a bit strange. Just I wouldn't say yes I want to meet them by looking at a profile pic. It's more of a "Is this person hot?". Which is not very fair.

Anyway I figured I could just message her and say something stupid like "You finger must have slipped on the Meet me button." But that's a bit rubbish.

You sound like you're getting too excited about the "meet me" feature :p Just message her and pretend you know nothing about it, she'll most likely reply if she's clicked yes to wanting to meet you.

Although.... Sometimes people accidently click 'Maybe' to wanting to meet someone (as it's just next to the No button). Maybe = yes. I know because I've clicked Maybe before by accident and the other person then views my profile and messages me and I'm like errr no thanks....! :o
