Will wait until supports Flash, right now the iPad is used mainly for controlling our Sonos network and casual bed browsing, which a iPad 2 is not needed for.

lol you may as well give up waiting now.

Hell will freeze over before apple implements flash support. Adobe is already conceeding by making flash >> HTML 5 tools available.

Only reasons I would upgrade:

* multi-tap web browsing (reload the tab isn't acceptable apple)
* resolution? meh
* to have the new one

So no brainer for me, iPad 1 sticks.

With the RAM increase, the reloading does not happen anymore.

The iPad 2 is also hugely faster at loading and rendering complicated website like BBC news and Facebook - a few seconds rather than 15-20.

No it's definitely the RAM.

Best reason to upgrade imho at the moment, but an expensive upgrade for slightly faster browsing.

No, but the issue with image heavy pages timing out before all the images have loaded has gone.

Try Boston big picture on 4.2 then 4.3 and you will see what I mean.

I can't say Safari has crashed since 4.3 (its early days) but at 4.2 safari has crashed a few times.

Though Infinity Blade certainly crashes almost every time I play it! When I get an email and the device is retrieving it in the background the whole game practically go into a 2 frames per second and almost pause...
