*** iPhone 5 - Revealed! ***

It is not just crap but you would be at risk by relyin on it. It'll either take you twice as long to get to where you need to go or worst still, take you 100miles away from where you meant to be.

Don't use it at the moment other than amusement.

I think it's fine as long as you have a rough idea on what route you should be taking :p

Most certainly needs a lot of improvement though

Bought a set the other day, they're not bad at all. They're not as good as isolating in-canal phones, but they're far better than any other 'buds I've used. Miles better than the old Apple 'buds.

Whilst they're considerably better than the old earphones, they're not going to be replacing any decent sets!

Cool thanks! I have a £50 pair of Sennheiser that I doubt they'd be better than but its always good to have something half decent as a backup.

Reckon I'll get a case for this one, especially as I'm tied in to it for the long term this time around

Then don't give a monkeys and just trade it in with whatever you get for it at Mazuma or another company. I'd only really worry if you were changing each year to get the best price privately.

Looking at the 4 prices private 2 years after launch and phone trade in, it's not enough to worry about gap wise to care :)

Those with black should look out for the scuff problem, it seems pretty prevalent.
Mind expanding on that?

P.S. lolMaps - if I had tried to submit that Apple would have refused to publish it - its laughably bad mainly because of the quality of the satellite imagery!

ps3ud0

it seems the metal plate on the back of the black one is infact the same as on the white one and is painted black. Apparently with some intended effort you can scratch it off.

Its anodised, as is the silver on the white one. I imagine they will both scratch in the same fashion, except it will just be more obvious on the black one due to the contrast.

Apple should've really chamfered the back side edge.

No it's Anodised and a lot of of them are damaged out of the box.
