*** iPhone 5 - Revealed! ***

Just got mine and the first thing that stands out is that everything is instant. It is crazy fast and the GPS accuracy even inside is insane.

Well pleased on the upgrade from the iP4.

Well after a second full charge from 0% it's seem to have stabled out, only lost 1% in around 2 hours of mix standby and average usage, I think it just needed Couple of cycles.

Steve Jobs would never have let this happen , although we had antenna gate .
but tbh I think the poor guy at that time had more on his mind than the arieal on the iphone 4

I really don't understand when people say this. Steve Jobs would have been involved with the iPhone iterations five to ten years ahead of his death. He would have been involved in this iPhone and iOS update. Apple - and other technology companies - know what they are planning on releasing at least ten years in advanced.

really? How do they know about uninvented technology then?

Anyone else noticed how accurate Siri now is?

There is simply no way the iPhone had a development cycle of 10 years.

It's uninvented to the consumer. You'd be surprised at how advanced technology is behind closed doors.

Irregardless of what I said - My main point is... Steve Jobs would have been involved in iOS 6.0. Saying that it wouldn't have happened if he were still alive is just silly.

No consumer tech company have products already mapped out for the next 10 years. If they did they would be bankrupt as they would release old crap.

Think about what you are saying... the iPhone 5 was designed in 2002. Most people were still using dial-up in 2002.

10 years may have been pushing it. But seriously, technology is incredibly more advanced at these companies that is released into the consumer market. They have to release it step by step - It would be silly for Apple to release an iPhone years ahead of any technology consumers have seen as they miss out on revenue from other iPhone models.

No I really don't think he did. Seeing as its brought next to nothing I highly doubt he was involved in it seeing as for the last year of his life he was probably coming to terms with the immediate reality of his impending death.

In a colossal twist I have decided to refund my S3 and buy an iPhone 5. Why? I've had the thing for less than a month and I'm already sick of the "maybe, possibly, might not" update cycles for custom ROMs as well as official Samsung ROMs.

Now the waiting game...for my 32GB iPhone 5 in black...!

I forgot to mention! Although I was a little late to the pre-order party, I have recieved news from Apple that I will be getting it a week earlier than anticipated :D Should be holding it tomorrow after work :D Very excited :p
