Seems like this new iPhone 5 has been leaking everywhere these - is anyone else surprised? I'd of thought Apple would have kept a tight lid on everything again.

Look over last years iphone thread. Exactly the same pictures of cases, components and even serial numbers showing iphone 5. Then we got the 4s and everyone moaned.

The websites that got it wrong are the same ones leaking stuff again.

Who knows, they may have a tight lid on it or for once they may have proper leaks.

You never know, with all these rumours going around it may not be a new phone. Just a new handheld device which isn't a phone. That would upset a lot of people.

Nothing official, but as well as the reports of a Sept. release I've been told something that I unfortunately can't share, so you'll have to take my word for it.

I'd say it's 99% certain.

I'd say it's 99% certain.

21st September my guess is with the keynote on the 12th.

I’m struggling with the temptation to throw my iPhone 4 against a wall

I dropped mine a couple of months ago. No cracks, just a small scuff right along the bottom but I havent been able to make calls (which isnt too much of a problem since been staying in Shanghai).

The battery on my phone is getting pathetic too. It barely survives a 4 hour train journey from Nottingham to Kent while mainly playing spotify and a small amount of angry birds

I didn't read that bit

I've had mine since August 2010, I want a new one, but the annoyance of having to charge my phone twice a day gone with a simple battery swap out is worth it to me

The more I see the new design the more I like it! I can't wait to get my hands on it now I bet the iPhone 4S is going to feel like its fatter, slower brother

To be honest, I was a little disappointed when I heard about the battery... I sort of hope that bit isn't true It's not much better than the 4S battery... then again the processor may use techniques to use the battery better, so I won't say anything until I have it in my hand

The overall summary I think is... 4" screen, better battery, new dock connector, slimmer-unibody design, NFC technology, better processor, more RAM.

My contract has just ended so I'm looking for a new phone and this might be perfect as I think the S3 is too big.

I've seen a design like this, but the back was much more of a darker tone, personally I thought it looked good. Also I for one would be happy with a 4/4s design and 4" but with a facelift on the software side of things.

Metal unibody should personally feel a bit better then glass.
