What was the reason for that? Surely things have moved on since being able to steal a phone and sell it on the MM? I never see any hassle with iphones sold on the MM on talkphotography, surely they are as safe to sell these days as a laptop or ipad?

Can the rules not be changed

To be honest I wasn't 100% sure myself so I've asked the question, and it is basically due to theft Can you imagine buying a phone from the MM and have it barred a few days later... Just creates extra problems for the Underbosses/Dons that have to monitor that nest of second handed sexyness

I can get £233 for my iPhone 4 16GB from Cex but if the value drops too much over the next few weeks then I might give it to my younger brother instead.

Yeah, they are also know as Computer Exchange or Phone Exchange. You may have a store by you if you check their webuy website.

The bottom looks horrible imo. Far too cluttered with all those speaker holes, especially with the headphone jack.

While I THINK the headphone jack would be better at the bottom it makes it look a lot messier, especially as the top only has the power button.

When is the anticipated release of this?

Yesterday I managed to drop my iPhone 4S down the bog! I'd only had it a few weeks, after my last one was replaced by my insurance company. I'm tempted to keep hold of it for now, as it's still working to my surprise! I'd then get it swapped a couple of weeks before the 5 comes with a view to selling it as a brand new device then put some money towards the 5.

I'll sell my 4S on AVF - as I did for my 3GS - since they allow phone sales. Kept it mint (no screen protector, just used a leather Knomo slipcase) so should get max value for it.

Hope O2 are quick releasing nano-sims so I can transfer my number quickly!

T-Mobile/Orange (i refuse to call it everything everywhere) have announced their 4G/LTE network has been approved to go live 11th September, a day before new iphone, so glad im in Tmobile, this basically tells us Ip5 has LTE
