*** iPhone 5 - Revealed! ***

Think I'm definitely going to wait until iPhone 5 release to see what I want to do.... Still can't decide between 4S or 5. Will very much depend on what features etc... the 5 has when it comes out.

Will defintely have to see how it feels in the hand size wise, but I seem to be one of the few people around who actually likes the current size of the phone/screen. That said, my Sensation XE is slightly bigger than the 4S. So I'm not too miffed by a larger phone. But I'm definitely fed up of Android - hence the move over to Apple.

But guess I'll wait and see on the 12th :)

Kd, the Sensation XE is quite a lot bigger than the 4S and will still be bigger than the reported size of the new iPhone.

I got the 4S a few months ago, so I definetely wont be getting the 5 at launch. There will probably be a 5S available before my contract is due another upgrade.

I got the 3, the 3G (was there a 3GS as I'm sure I had 3 different iPhone 3s?), the 4, the 4s I'll be getting the 5 and a 5s when that comes out :D

Out of interest, what are you fed up of with regards to android? You do realise how restrictive ios is compared to android?

I fancy a change.

To be fair, I'm more fed up with HTC than android, and no I don't like the S3. It's just too light... I picked it up and it just didn't feel right, it's not solid enough xD

I know that a lot of people will dismiss this as not a good reason, but it bugs me to no end.

I'm fed up with HTC because their phones won't stop breaking on me...

As for iOS, I'm well aware of the two comparisons. I've already got an iPad, and have used Android for a number of years now.

So, yes, I'm well aware of the two different platforms and how they work/don't work.

I don't need anything from my phone that iOs can't do, and frankly I fancy a change.

Fair one mate -

I must say from my experience of their repair centre I found them to be shambolic! Ten attempts to fix my HTC desire and they still didn't manage to send me one as good as the one I sent in condition wise!

Also, for all of Android's customisation, you could count that as a negative. For example, some people may find themselves filling up the screens with widgets they don't want or need, or feeling most of them just look messy, when they'd rather just have an iOS style layout.

On this forum, customisation will usually win out, but in the real world it really doesn't.

am I the only person in the world that actually doesn't like widgets in the form they currently exist?

Think they look totally &$%@

It depends, but many of them aren't particularly great/don't work properly/look rubbish.

There are good ones though. Widgets certainly aren't a feature I find particularly important.
