TBH that's all I actually want. Better battery life and slightly thinner would be a nice bbonus too

I doubt it. A lot of people barely eat into 8GB. I think at this moment in time the consumption of storage on handheld devices takes quite a logarithmic curve but then again it would be with the increase of GBs doubling every upgrade.
I think a 64GB device would be my bare minimum on my next device though...
There is a current project on Kickstarter making a little bluetooth socket which plugs into the 30pin dock connector on your existing dock turning it into a bluetooth speaker
Apple's iPhone launches no longer excite
Some valid observations made here I think. I'm excited about iPhone 5, but in all honesty, progress has been pretty slow, especially given they have only one product in this market.
I'd be in a genuine state of astonishment if Apple go ahead and announce something entirely different to what we've seen leaked/are expecting.

Anyone want to take bets of what "new" features they will steel or pass on as there own this time?
I don't like adaptors so I won't be getting an iPhone 5 for this single reason.
So you're going to stick with the 4S or less forever? That's rather brave!
It's not about that. It's about what features they can take and put them all on the same device.
You mean like notifications and face time? I'm pretty sure they were on mobile phones long before Apple reinvented them.
