i take it you properly calibrated the pedals with the new cable with the calibration utility? you're supposed to run it and adjust the figures until u get the blue bars to register from 0-1023

i actually gained more time with the nixim brake mod as it makes the braking feel much more natural and then you can brake much later, something to do with it making the braking a matter of muscle memory i read, like a real car

You could try short callerbrating the pedals to try and get rid of the spiking.

The logi pedals i had start to spike after a few months i noticed some of my laptimes were slower than others even when they felt like a good laps but when i watched the replay i notice sometimes i wasnt getting full gas and sometimes the brake was staying on aswell just a little then on another lap it was fine.

Since then i know of a few m8s that have the same problem and are constantly taking them apart to clean the pots.

This is why i bought the Clubsport pedals they have no pots in them at all they use sensors for gas and clutch and a load cell for the brake and for what they cost they are a bargain imo the next step up for g27 users.

I've been using the bodnar for months and it's only just started doing it. It's not a calibration issue, it's the pedals. I did try re calibrating but it makes no different unless I short calibrate. At the end of the day they're faulty and still under warranty.

Like I said, I could take the pedals apart but It'll void my warranty and If I do that and the main wheel goes bang I'm down the cost of the wheel.

I'm interested in the CSPs at the moment. They're like $400 for a decent pair though? I might just bite the bullet anyway.

haha, embrace the dark side :p

I quite enjoy oval racing, more the short tracks, it's quite different from road courses and has it's own set of challenges that can be rewarding :)

Its quite safe to open up the G25/27 pedals, there is no manufacturer seal so you wont void your warranty. It's worth opening up the base every few months and clean out any dust and hair that can clog up the mechanism.

The engineers produce the release notes after they have completed the new build so i wouldnt expect them untill after the build release.

Rumours ive heard include NTM for Star Mazda and Riley and brake disc glow and flashes from exhausts but all rumours then all the usual bug fixes and updates.

Deploying the new build.

Maintenance (est. 6 hrs): 30-JAN 1800 GMT [1300 EST]

Looking foreward to this.

Any news on changes?

This game gets better the more you play it for sure. Really loving the realism and handling of the vehicles, plus I can use my clutch and shifter properly!

I haven't even joined a race yet, just practice sessions to get up to speed....

Should I dive in? Given it probably 4 hours of practice on about 3 combinations of track/car. Can produce clean laps but it doesn't tally with fast laps yet.
