Very nice setup you got there. What monitors and gpu you running?

You like the Z1 software? Cant decide on whether to get that up and running with a wheel based screen, smaller seperate screen or on 4th full size monitor.

Thanks guys.

Running a 15 6500 3.2, 8 gig of DDR4 2400 ram with a 970 G1.

Smooth as anything across the 3 screens with everything up full and Nvidia control panel set to full quality.

The Z1 is a great wee dashboard, I got my mnitor from the rainforest online for £25, it runs off of the onboard intel graphics in extended mode on Nvidia surround.

Yeah the V3 pedals are awesome, making me think how more awesome full hyraulic brakes would be though :)

Oh god, why oh why did I decide to race skippy?

Top split at brands, forgot to set my pedals (clutch), engaged first at the red lights and jumped forward, black flag stop and go.
Came out of the pits last, after 2 laps I had caught up with a back marker, he spins out at Graham Hill bend and damages my front left wheel, meatball flag.

Fast repair and I had forgotten to untick refuel and change tyres after my stop and go :(

Finished last, 8 seconds behind the guy who hit me! Should have been around 10th I guess.

FR2.0 is looking so much more appealing from here on in!

I did the 9:15pm Skippy, started 9th in the top split and finished 5th.

Haven't had time to do any FR 2.0 practice this week and am away for the weekend so just managed to sneak in a Skippy race.

I imagine the FR 2.0 races could get a bit messy at Phillip Island's first two turns on cold tyres.

Did some PI practice last night, don't think T1 will be an issue, it's almost flat on the first flying lap with a low downforce setup, probably is flat even with cold tyres from a start. T2 though, yeah, that's not going to be pretty :p

Video of my son driving in Pcars on the rig. It gives you a idea of the speed on the outside 2 monitors.

It also looks like they are at an angle, but when you're sitting down it is all level..

Looks good, hopefully shoudl have mine set up soon.

From what I've read, Project Cars doesn't do proper triple screen, so the extremes at the side give the sense of warping.

I raced in the BES today in the AMG with one of my team mates.

We were In the top split, managed to qual 19th. Unfortunately, coming to Stavelot for the first time a lap 1 hero hit the back of me and at the next corner after taking himself half off track completed the job and spun me and drove off along with the rest of the field (incredible they all missed me, I couldn't move either way for the sea of cars!) 12mins of repairs required and it was back on track in 52nd place! A big shame, it transpires we had pace for a top 10 finish but could only make our way back to 30th with the time lost.

QStarting off in this game is expensive. I guess the cost does pale in comparison to the triple screens I want :/

Cannot wait to try the Rift CV1. This looks so damn good:

Just setting this back up. Does anyone know whether SLI works in DX11 mode? I don't seem to get any GPU use on the 2nd GPU

It's not cheap, however there are a few things that help. Every year you get $5 in credits. every season (12 weeks) you can get up to $10 participation credits. Lastly every so often they do a $100 dollar credit for $75 and $25 for $20 dollar offer. The last one was in August so we should be getting one again soon.

As you have seen buy 6 pieces of content a time and get a discount, when you get to 40(?) pieces of content you have a permanent 20% discount.

So could cost a bit, however I'm not spending money on other games any more.

Was there really a $100 credits for $75 in August? I posted a link to a thread on reddit a few days ago where people were saying that the last sale was in March 2015. I could really use one right about now!

I need to read up on the $10 participation credit. I'm not sure how many weeks you have to participate in, because I wasn't planning on buying every track for a while.

Hopefully there will be a 50% renewal discount available when my trial ends on 26/06.

Thanks for the heads up :)

Yes, I checked my account and I bought it on 20th August 2015. Participation credits you get for doing 8 weeks in a 12 week season.

Thanks very much :) 8 /12 is very doable since the leagues include the free tracks too.

Was looking at iracer.info and it's interesting to see how some series have very low participation compared to stuff like GT3. I was interested in the Kia Cup and maybe the Radical until I saw the low numbers, but I won't be doing those for quite a while so it doesn't matter much.

Gutted for you being taken out, sounds like you clawed back fairly well. How you finding the AMG. Trying to decide on AMG or Audi, having tried both my head says Audi but my heart AMG. Not driven either since BOP change in last patch.

I was originally going to race with the Audi. Although I find I'm faster (slightly) with it I am driveing much closer to the edge at all times, through Eau Rouge it just wants to kill you! By comparison the AMG feels rock solid and very confidence inspiring along with being a little more forgiving if you step out of line with it. The Audi is a lot of fun though, I would just enjoy it more for a sprint race than a 3hr endurance. :)

Highly recommend both!
