iRacing

It's not small but should be fine for an 8mb connection, I'm not 100% sure on the basic package though as I've not downloaded that since 2008, probably somewhere around the 1Gb mark as a guess.
 
hmmmmmmm my pc just crashed again but right at the start of the first lap of a time trail as soon as i got to the pit exit screen froze but with the pic still on this time but the sound continued for a min or so, so it cant be heat.i cant get out of it unless i switch power off.

this is annoying me now i cant figure out what it is...
 
I have just got my class B license woo. Which car shall I buy :). Im thinking the Lotus 79 or Ford GT. I know the Corvette is popular but I dont like the interior or engine sound, do people race the Ford GT?

aye i cant drive the thing, i keep trying to have a go now and then i just cant master it, it was the first car i bought after signing up in januray...

the williams i want to race but think ill get left for dust..

i just love the radical sooo much fun to drive...

I just keeping loosing it under braking going into almost every corner on Limerock Park. Mainly the slower turns, The faster ones seems OK but I'm guessing that's due to less braking. Might have a play with the car set up.
 
its not a down force car thats why mate...

get the radical if you have a c class license its so much fun to drive, also has a great english/celtic community that race it...
 
Just subbed up for the 3 month offer and after a lot of practice this weekend I have just won my first race in the MX5! It's been my 3rd race overall I think so really chuffed. I can't wait to move up the ratings a bit and get some closer battles.

I got a bit lucky at the first corner and came out 4th after starting on the grid 12th. I chased down the 2 in front of me and had a great battle swapping position for a couple of laps. Unfortunately this let the leader get away and I settled in to take the 2nd place (still giddy at the thought of a podium). 10 laps in I struggled to keep my cool as I heard "The leader is pitting". I came past just as he was leaving the pits and managed to hold a 4s gap for the next 10 laps to take the victory. Really tough trying to stay consistent and not make any mistakes with another car breathing down my neck. Still well chuffed about it!

awesome job on the win mate.

its a proper good feeling when you win or get a high finish, theres nowt better than a good battle tho even if its at the back of the pack so much fun.

this game/sim is so addictive i love it...

we have a great english community on there aswell and its growing all the time...

Thanks! I haven't really explored the community/forums etc as I've been too busy having fun and racing. Is there somewhere I should go in particular?

just the iracing forums we have our own english forum.

i race the radical and theres a lot of britsih lads that race it so im always with them, plus theres a radical school server on a tuesday night hosted by english peeps...
 
This game is costing me so much money lol. Tracks cars, steering wheel and soon to be a playseat lol.

Oval racing seems impossible... How on earth are you supposed to achieve 3.0SR when its a wreckfest...

i avoid ovals like the plague..

tell me about it tracks, cars, triple screens, wheel stands, g27 now im after a cockpit...
