With war games showing the US would need a minimum of 4 carrier strike groups to beat China back, they definitely will be stretched with two helping Israel

Whether China is actually prepared is a different story but right now would actually be a good time to invade Taiwan


Of course it would be WW3. Russia, China and most of the Middle East vs Europe, North America , Taiwan and Israel

In ww3 it would be very interesting to see which side India picks, because it may have a big impact on who wins. They may not have a large amount of modern weapons but they have a lot of man power that can be sent into battlefields elsewhere and supplied with western arms

The two are more likely there to keep the neighbours in check rather than expecting to be participating in a full scale war. Better to prevent it spreading than have to clear it up. At the end of this I don't expect Hamas will have much capability for a very long time.

From what I can see the story as come from an Israeli news channel i24 News. But the army unit they were reporting on saying they didn't see that. But the pro-Israel media lobby are all taking it as factual.

I think until we can see some evidence, or it's verified by a neutral party then we can't just assume something is true.

The story reminds me of the Iraq story about Iraqi soldiers taking viagra and carrying out disgusting acts. All lies.

The 9/11 comparison is also worrying as the US appeared to use it as an excuse to attack Iraq. Are we seeing this event used as a reason to attack Iran? If so it'll start a world war.

i24 news is the Israeli equivalent of Russia Today. Russia Today has been banned pretty much everywhere for good reason.................

Potentially see some use if Iran, etc. start using long range ballistic missiles.

Joe Biden is hardly the source for facts... he also claimed the Afghan army was 300K strong, well equipped and prepared :cry:
 
I doubt Israel needs any help to conduct the coming offensive. The carriers will be there to prevent escalation.

If Iran launches some missiles their way, all bets are off. But seeing as they're trying to distance themselves from the attack, it seems unlikely.

He's been shown the evidence and is talking about it. Frankly I wouldn't want to see the evidence, it would give me nightmares, but the man in charge of the most powerful military in the world and Israel's most important ally has to see all the evidence to make informed decisions.

Sorry but frankly I do not believe him - I've not forgotten all the times during the Afghan saga when he made similar statements as to things being confirmed/verified and turned out he was talking complete rubbish. Never mind many other things he has come out with such as claiming to have visited a synagogue when he didn't, claims to have been arrested when he wasn't, claiming to have worked for a company where the owner is categoric that he didn't and so on. The man is not a reliable source for verified information which is shameful for the post.

EDIT: That isn't to say the incident did or didn't happen, that is another story again and as I've mentioned I've seen verified accounts of similar things happening during these events.

How so? go look through the Afghan thread and see the number of times Biden made claims which turned out to be completely false.
