If you're going to copy paste the top line of a Google search at least paste the whole quote

I'm not sure I would be going to a music festival on the Gaza Strip border.

I think Israel are just going to have to try and wipe out Hamas completely and take control of the area - and keep it. There will no doubt be insurgencies and other issues, but this can't go on... and yes, Israel have done a lot wrong too, but they are not terrorist-level barbarians like Hamas appear to be.

Still doesnt stop Israel putting up an internal roadblock preventing entry just inside the border.

Deny it all you want, but this is total war. One country that attacked civilians and has as a aim that the extermination of another.

Same as europe vs nazi germany, bombing of civilians is a part of war we haven't seen in a while but it is a legitimate tactic unfortunately.

Hamas as screwed up massively they are now seen by the west as a different version of isis.

If we believe the elections in the first place (extremely questionable in Gaza) these are an imprisoned people and Hamas was the only group willing to fight. Very easy to see why your average Gazan or West Banker might find that alluring after having their homes demolished or outright bombed. Plenty of people still vote for political entities in Northern Ireland with historical or direct links to militant groups, are the voters beneath contempt for feeling they've little choice?

Not really a defence of anyone here, but feel that it's a bit too easy to justify starving people because of a cross on a page.

All very sad and I don't intend to pick a side but like all wars the VAST majority impacted by it are those who just want to live a peaceful life and go about their own business, but can't because of a few. The fist and flag wavers are always the minority but they don't attract views or clicks. Nothing will ever be solved if people want to create anger by constantly talking about how we got to this point and revenge but I guess that is human nature.

Nope. That is you saying it. However, assuming that the settlers are illegal and assuming that they have stolen the land does that open the door for a wholesale massacre, rape and hostage taking? If a illegal immigrants (or any one really) moves into my home in the UK whilst I am at work, I can just kick in the door and stab them all to death whilst chanting Allah Hu Akbar as is my Divine right? How do you think that would play out in UK courts?

I do, do you know there's no real way to to separate civilians from Hamas? If you gather civilians in a safe place, than Hamas will just go there too and fire rockets from there. Like they've been doing for decades.

Ok, lol. I thought you was referring to the area, sorry about that, jeez.

Some Hamas fighters will also stay and fight in an area, and it also gives Isreal a foot hold within Gaza Strip, once they have control of say the Gaza district.

IDF is about to send in 300k soldiers, that's enough to filter out hamas from the population, anyone not reporting to the gathering zone may be assumed to be hamas
 
Jesus at least the Ukrainian thread has some "knowledgeable" people in there feeding it updates. This is just a load of ****. I get everyone has something to say and an opinion but speak about a lot of drivel. ( my post included)
