US Planes have already taken off to go deliver weapons and ammunition to Israel, more will be sent once white house knows what else can easily and quickly be delivered - anonymous white house source
The US will not deploy boots on the ground, no intention to put military in Israel, but deployment of navy to the area is to deter any other Iranian backed groups in the region from trying to enter the fight, the US will defend it's interests in the region so let's leave it at that - same source

Funker 530 has a live show of a collation of footage, geolocated and timeline of the Hamas attacks and IDF response. Well planned coordinated attacks. Some of the footage is NSFW so not linking but check his youtube channel on the live tab.

The only way for Palestinian children to sleep in peace is for Israeli children to sleep in peace. The only way for Israeli children to sleep in peace is for Palestinian children to sleep in peace.War will never achieve this, it can only be achieved by a peace agreement that respects international legality and the right of the two peoples to exist free. These photos are of Palestinian children murdered by the illegal occupation of their territory.

This conflict never dies, it's just endless.

The problem is it's impossible to "end".

Hamas has a never ending supply of angry young men who hate Israel. Even if they are mostly stopped now. In 10 years time there will be a new generation of angry young men who have lost their families when they were younger, and forced to live in poverty etc. The cycle then starts again.

Israel have now secured the border with Gaza...

Maybe they should stop bombing Gaza now and demand that the hostages are released, or else!

I have a feeling they will continue bombing until the US carrier group arrives. With the looming threat of the carrier group to deter other Arab nations from intervening they will then go into Gaza.

A tragedy on all sides.

People talking about escalation a lot but I can't see Egypt or Jordan getting involved, Syria has enough problems of its own though they might act as a staging ground for Iran and some other factions but Iran only have indirect routes to the conflict though I'm sure they are plenty involved behind the scenes. Though Hezbollah are making a lot of noise I can't see them getting stuck in alone - not sure if they are stirring things up so as to force Israel to divide their attention potentially taking some pressure off Hamas or if they are hoping that in doing so it will encourage others to get involved. I just can't see Lebanon officially getting involved.

Quite a lot of US and UK military assets heading into the region this morning though - I'd imagine more out of precaution than expecting anything major.

Relations with Palestine and other Arab nations isnt as cosy as the west thinks ; they accuse Syria of allowing palestinian women to be raped and tortured in 2018 en masse for example. Jordan and Eygpt have `normalised` relations and thats it. And ofc, Gaza Strip and West Bank have far farf different governing bodies. Bothe Egypt and Jordan are not interested in the war (Egypt has better relations nwo with Israel than many other times). It`ll be Iran and Russia backing Hamas, maybe even China.

They may as well, they’ve shut off every vital supply, no need to waste ammunition now.
I'd like to think there would be some negotiation to get their hostages back, and let civilians leave before they go in, but I'm not sure they are in the mood.
