That point is ignored by some here because it exposes the flaw in their "both sides are bad" equivocation effort.Yes, they would give their soldier a promotion.

I’m not sure how that will work with terrorist groups. They aren’t necessarily trying to keep countries apart. Hamas and others would take pleasure at targeting UN forces. Two solutions.
First one people wont like (and not really a practical solution) but Genghis Khan would have been fine with it.
1: Get rid of both sets of people
2: Realise the carve up of Israel was a big mistake and re-draw the borders and have a permanent UN 2m wide presence separating the two squabbling children. Israel wont like it but tough they have had enough chances since 1945 to play nice.
What if some of the heads are sitting in the Knesset or Israeli military who would more than love to keep this conflict frozen for their own benefit? The world is fed up to the back teeth with terrorism carried out using Islam as an excuse. I am no fan of religion but these terrorists are neither. Reference was made to Mossad and it's hit squads particularly after Munich where not one of the planners survived. That is what is required here. Cut off the head and the money, starve the animal that way.
Hamas is apparently upset about access to the mosque a bunch of Muslims built on the top of a Jewish holy site during one of their occupations.
(Source).
The mosque is managed by Jordan.
I don't doubt that, it is religious war after all.For Hamas, every dead Jew is celebrated .
Every.
Single.
Jew.
How do you have the chance to play nice with people whos only aim is to systematically wipe you and your children off the face of the earth? Two solutions.

That's how this whole land dispute works though. Just move the pin on the time line and instantly switch who has a "right" to what.A little harsh. It’s been a mosque for a 1000 years.
It’s like me claiming your current day house because one of my ancestors over a 1000 years ago used to have (insert something creative) there.
How far do you go back? Perhaps another 1000 years before that someone else had something built there.

And none of those countries want anything to do with Palestinians because it suits them being trapped. How do you have the chance to play nice with people whos only aim is to systematically wipe you and your children off the face of the earth?
There are plenty of muslim countries in the world and 1 jewish...
That's why the two sides are not "equally bad".I don't doubt that, it is religious war after all.
Who do you anticipate doing this? Two solutions.

I think building a mosque on top of someone else's holy site during an occupation is pretty harsh.

A 2 state solution is the only way forward. Ideologies are entrenched and episodes of violence are baked into the cake. Violence needs to be stopped, law restored and a UN peacekeeping mission deployed. Sadly I can't see it ever happening while the west had it's hand of the scale.Israel correction loop? : for illegal settlements on West bank/ethnic cleansing, detaining minors ....
Rishi&Co can rightfully condemn Hammas, but if the retribution is indiscriminate then public opinion will further deteriorate,

Thatand every time they invite palestians into their country they start a civil war....And none of those countries want anything to do with Palestinians because it suits them being trapped.
Indeed. That point is ignored by some here because it exposes the flaw in their "both sides are bad" equivocation effort.
A similar attitude to the ultra Orthodox Jews / right wings Jews currently in power then.
You know Jews enjoy just as much when Muslim are killed. That's why the two sides are not "equally bad".

Israeli soldier gets 18 months' jail for killing wounded Palestinian attacker
A young Israeli soldier who killed a wounded and incapacitated Palestinian assailant was sentenced to 18 months' imprisonment on Tuesday, in a show of leniency that drew Palestinian outrage after one of the most divisive trials in Israel's history.www.reuters.com
A 25-second clip, filmed at a wedding that occurred three weeks ago, according to Israeli news media reports, shows a room of jumping, dancing men wearing white skullcaps, many with the long sidelocks of Orthodox Jews. Some of them are brandishing guns and knives.
Two of them appear to be stabbing pieces of paper they hold in their hands, which the television station identified as pictures of an 18-month-old child, Ali Dawabsheh, who was burned to death in a July 31 arson attack that also killed his parents in Duma, a West Bankvillage. The only survivor was Ali’s brother, 4-year-old Ahmad, who is still recovering in an Israeli hospital. Israeli officials called the attack an act of terrorism and blamed Jewish extremists.
