RBR front wing flex sensor :p

Really hope this is a good track for Mclaren this weekend. Surely they have a great chance. Monza suits them more over the redbulls right guys?

Everyone has been saying how Spa and Monza are RBR's weakest tracks....

Didn't stop them getting a 1-2 at Spa....

Someone tweeted me about the situation in India and had a good point.
The tracks well underway (well, done even) and cost a fair bit of dosh.
India need F1 more then F1 needs india. They will surely back down.

Any ideas why it's so bad?

Lack of downforce from the skinny wings? I haven't seen much oversteer apart from there.

5 Live said that that part of the track had been resurfaced.

That is because Mclaren and Ferrari took a hit on top speed and hoped to get it back in the twisty parts of spa
which they did but it just did not work out for both teams.

They'd be idiots not to, it'll generate a load of tourism if it catches on!

I'm mixed, on the one hand fia set lots of limits, but on the other hand. If teams want to run more camber why not. It's now clear that it's your fault if you blister up.

Anyway will miss fp3 watching the rugby.

What happened with Hamilton there, up to the end of the second sector Hamilton was 0.37 up on Webber when he went round, then ended up just behind at the end, they suggested he was also not using DRS anywhere around the track...... sandbagging, doing 1 or 2 uber sectors then dropping off, hiding his pace a little? Had he kept the lap going I think he was set for another just under 1.24 lap.

EDIT:- now at the end of the session, 1st sector, what was he, 0.5 almost down, second sector he pulled that back to 0.1, and last sector he's back to 0.5 down, no idea what his setup is right now but he seems way slow in sector 1/3, and just epic in sector 2. Button was faster in q1 than Hamilton so not sure what the issue is, seems odd he can be that much slower than Rossberg, and is this the stupid big wing hurting the Mclarens really badly in sector 1/3?

Just when you think Mclaren and Ferrari have Red Bull pegged, they pull back ahead at a circuit like this
