I would post some of my opinions, but im scared of how people would take them. Freedom of speech, never existed.
Post them, just keep them polite and be prepared to be challenged to provide reasoning.

so if i ask them to remove their veil, does that make me racist? i want to know what muslim people's view on it?
tom_nieto said:When I said above "choose to wear a veil" I deliberately tried to remove religion or predudice from my post. If I were to cover up my face, people would see me as suspicious and probably not interact as well with me. I was trying to make a point about the physical act of covering up one's face rather than try to start a muslim bashing thread. Groups of youths wearing hoodies make people uncomfortable, it's not exactly the same situation, but covering up your face for some would still be associated in a similar fashion.

Anyway the answer is no - it's common sense. Islam is not as rigid as you think nor is it as hard as you may percieve it to be.

Embrace Islam or be called a racist.
Disagree with Islam = you're a racist.
Weak like all your posts and insulting as well. Say it to my face one day boy.

just wanted to know what to do when a muslim woman with a veil on try to speak to me.

Hope you people remember that it was muslims with the support of neocons that decided to trash the WW2 monument in london a couple of years ago, hows that for a fingers up to england?
So where would they draw the line?@if ®afiq said:Apologies if I caused any offence
If you explain that you are hard of hearing and need to read their lips they should understand.

starscream said:I don't see what it has to do with Jack Straw what people wear. Lots of people complaining about political correctness in here, but isn't telling people to act/speak/dress in a certain way a perfect example of it?
