This wasn't a twitter mob, it was a conservative weirdo.
We know that as soon as this stuff occurs, they are out to get people fired every time.

“The offensive attitudes and statements discovered on James’ Twitter feed are indefensible and inconsistent with our studio’s values, and we have severed our business relationship with him,” Walt Disney Studios Chairman Alan Horn told the New York Post in a statement on Friday.
Well have you read them, they are dodgy I just can't see how you would joke like that. Maybe some do. Anyway as someone said, Disney being very children orientated I guess they thought nip it in the bud asap to prevent potential firestorm and loss of income.
inconsistent with our studio’s values?
I can't believe 50% of Trump voters believed this Cernovich moron's Pizzagate story about Hillary. Crazy times.
Sometimes I'm tempted to sign up to Twitter. Then it ruins another person's career and I think "nah"...
Don't ever work in a factory, a building site or any male dominated workplace.
You're head would fall off if you find jokes like that too much
What comments? I can't be bothered to go and Google for your point. What do you mean the "theory was dumb". Firstly, it's not a "theory" -- it's a lie. As soon as you start giving the alt-right morons an inch by calling their slanderous fabrications "theories", they've essentially won the argument.Considering the comments made recently about Bill and the rather obviousness that they're pedophiles in DC, the theory was dumb, but the point of it wasn't.
True. But how does that warrant making up lies about someone to try and get them sent to jail, nevermind lose an election? Do you try to win arguments by making up lies... ?Authority and child abuse seem to go hand in hand for some strange and magical reason.
His tweets are the kind of jokes that would get you punched in one of those places, or at best just ignored and ostracised as a weirdo. There is a big difference between saying your workmate touches boys, and your workmate himself saying he touches boys.
I like to think I'm quite open-minded about banter but this was just off and was horrible to read. However, I don't think he should have been fired over it, especially given how well he responded to it. If Disney had simply condemned it it would've blown over soon enough.

What nonsense, Donald. You blow open any sort of discussion by providing evidence and incontestable truths. Not slandering people in the hope that something sticks. Jeez, and we wonder why the world is in such a stateBourdain's last interview blasted Bill Clinton alongside Weinstein, i'm inclined to believe the man. Unfortunately sometimes you need to lie to blow open any sort of discussion, especially when it concerns authority being disgusting.
Otherwise you end up with the likes of Cyril Smith.
Wiki said:A former user of cocaine, heroin, and LSD, he wrote in Kitchen Confidential of his experience in a trendy SoHo restaurant in 1981: "We were high all the time, sneaking off to the walk-in refrigerator at every opportunity to 'conceptualize.' Hardly a decision was made without drugs. Cannabis, methaqualone, cocaine, LSD, psilocybin mushrooms soaked in honey and used to sweeten tea, secobarbital, tuinal, amphetamine, codeine and, increasingly, heroin, which we'd send a Spanish-speaking busboy over to Alphabet City to get."

Bourdain might be well respected in his field, and trust me I'm a fan. But it doesn't stop him being a heavy drug user, and someone with mental problems. He's hardly the shining example of truth is he?*What i mean by lie was the rather stupid idea of "Pizzagate", I supremely doubt a well respected man like Bourdain was just opening his mouth like that for little reason.
lol twitter.
Don't even care what he said, you should never be fired for making jokes, I guess showbiz people are held to some different standard though for some reason, that's why I like people like Ricky Gervais, makes gags and doesnt care if someone is offended.
You ever seen Jimmy Carr live?
