The only price I can see Liverpool accepting is over £50m. Chelsea will come back with a bid today of around £40m, have it turned down again, and then they've only got just over a day to table another bid, let alone have it accepted, sort out terms and medical etc.

You can't really criticize Torres for wanting to go, though. He's quite easily the best player in the world not challenging for major club honours, and he knows it.
