January Transfer Window 2010/2011 Season Rumours/Signings

He desperately needs a fantastic coach to teach him a thing or two. Has genuine serious talent; check the pass he against Coventry a week or so ago, but he's selfish, and just... isn't very clever. QPR are built around him, would be hurt very heavily if he left.
He's still way too inconsistent too, and temperamental. At Hull this weekend the fans gave him a bit of stick and he went to pieces.

Still, I suppose they have Nani already, so they'll be used to that.

Lots of different sources saying various things.

The jist seems to be there was training this morning, but Torres was due to a later training session, and he is there now. Wether that is for training, or discussions......??

I'm guessing the ratio of training to discussions will be heavily leaning towards discussions. :)

I just want things resolved now, one way or the other. If he goes, then lets just get it done and move on. If he stays, well I dont know how it will work out for him, I think its become a little untenable for him to stay(with what we "know" at the moment) at this stage and I'm not sure what sort of reception he will get from teammates or fans on wednesday. Such a shame its all worked out like this though, really overshadows Suarez debut.

From pictures it looks like he is training along with one of the coaches by himself.
Maybe one of the twists in LFCs recents history will be a good one.

Same here. Ask me two weeks ago if we should look at selling him, and i would have asnswered 'no way'. But to keep a player that does not want to be here, when a club are offering £50 million to Liverpool who are crying out for re-investment, its almost a no-brainer.

The weird thing is Ancelotti has either got the best poker face i have ever seen, or doesn't want him.

It might just be that thinks £50 mill could have been used more wisely on an ageing squad..

Interesting to see how that pans out.

I must confess that I am very surprised that Chelsea didnt come straight back with another bid, or indeed that Man City didnt pop up with a bid (I know they dont "need" him, just struck me as the sort of thing they would do). Its almost as if Chelsea threw the bid in, fully expecting to be turned down, but not expecting Torres to turn around and say ok ! and thats kind of caught them off guard. Then again, who knows whats going on behind the scenes.
