I wouldn't take any of the Chelsea strikers as a make weight. They're all too old or not the same kind of player as Torres.

If we get suarez he's been bought to play in behind Torres so we really need a like for like long term replacement. That's not happanimg before the end of tomorrow. That's why if we sell the price has to be right and possibly above the odds.
 
Parker could be the difference between West Ham staying up and going down, so as Holloway put it in regards to Charlie Adam he should be worth 40 million to West Ham, and they would be foolish to sell him.
 
Spurs are fast becoming the most annoying side ever, get in the Champions League and they think they are the new Real Madrid linked with every player that has graced a football pitch.

We have been like that for years, linked with everyone, but nothing usually materialises. And although Harry hates to admit it he IS a wheeler and dealer so is bound to make a few stories, most of which is pure paper talk.

thought it was just me being bitter they replaced us in champions league, I have to agree, them and City are certainly up there.
 
Adam Johnson very possibly out for the rest of the season with an ankle injury picked up in training (tried to roundhouse kick De Jong in another fight but De Jong stood firm). Huge blow. Scored some really crucial goals for us this season, and with half our squad out on loan I wouldn't be surprised to see someone of his ilk bought in tomorrow.

Yeah I know, ruining football etc.

Basically said that City & Chelsea put in bids during the summer and that unsettled him a bit and because of what was going on with the owners, but after the take over he decided to stay, but now Chelsea have bid again and because of how things have gone for Liverpool this season his doubt about the club are even bigger now, so he really does want to go.

1. We've been after Scott Parker for ages, as proved my numerous statements and comments from West Ham saying so.

2. We've been linked with half the footballing world for years.

3. The papers make up the rumours, not the club or fans.

That's ok with me, we can do a lot with an extra 50 million and some would say that bridges are too damaged now anyway.
