January Transfer Window 2010/2011 Season Rumours/Signings

Apparently Ramsey was so surprisingly good in his first competitive come back game, we decided to loan him straight out rather than you know, play him. I don't care how rusty he is, its impossible he's worse than Denilson, or Diaby if his mysterious injury ever clears up, or Theo, whose fit but just completely crap.

Oh well, he'll help you, did you see how long he's supposed to be loaned for, short term or till the end of the season?

EDIT:- Till 3rd of Jan, so at least we might have him around for our woeful Feb/March slump which we generally have.

So bored of having better players in the squad but starting Denilson all the time, he's so utterly rubbish its a joke, now when a better player comes back, we loan them out to do well for other teams rather than our own. Does it seem mental as an idea to play Ramsey and loan out the utterly useless Denilson? Especially with Cesc due to miss a couple weeks aswell, the chances for him to play in midfield for the next month get even better.

Chuffed to bits with the signing of Ramsey, his aura will speak for itself and although it's a given hope won't be 100% I'm fairly confident he will do a job on most the division. Nicky Shorey was pretty much the catalyst for our awesome run last year that saw an aboslute demolition of West Brom at Hawthorns, hopefully Ramsey can do the same, Shorey was evidently a cut above the rest so let's see what Ramsey can do.

Anyway, Cesc out for 3 weeks or so it seems, yippee, the way the rest of the team is playing(did anyone even notice Nasri after he came on the pitch?) the next 3 weeks could kill our season. Who wants to bet that when he's "fit" again he'll be rushed straight back in, play 88minutes of the next 3-4 games and tweak his hamstring again.

Ramsey broke his leg, he doesn't have a long term recurring injury, he had an injury, its fixed, he needs to build his fitness but if he can play 45minutes pretty much fine, he's not far from being able to play 90mins fine.

The difference is Cesc has been rushed back repeatedly and each and every time his hamstring has gone, again, and when theres a risk, after 3-4 games, rather than resting him, we continue to play him then lose him again.

Situations aren't even close to comparable, Ramsey is now going to play 90 mins 1-2 times a week for a different team, he's MUCH better than Denilson and Diaby, in much the same way Wilshire and Fabregas have played the defensive role and are better tacklers and concede posession far less, Ramsey has played deeper and very well for us before and is far more capable of that than Denilson.

If he's going to be playing anyway, why not play at Arsenal. Same way Wilshire's loan last year was truly epically stupid. Wilshire was a cut above most of the squad last year's preseason, was great from his first game at Bolton and was great this year in preseason and his first appearances for Arsenal. He was MORE than ready for first team duty last year, why we played Denilson/Diaby last year while Wilshire played better than them, but for a different club I can't begin to understand.

I think we're about the only team on earth who loans out our better players, and keeps truely rubbish players and consistantly play them in the first team. Bentley was excellent on loan while we had worse players making appearances for us, and he isn't even close to as good as the likes of Wilshire/Ramsey.

says he's in training but not ready for games this week, but frankly, our medical staff is beyond hopeless by all accounts. we need to stop rushing players back in, give him training, strengthen the knee, then give him a further 2 weeks rest/light training.

its like owen, rush him back as soon as he's recovered, but he's basically in that overtrained and very prone to injury state, so many players we rush back in, henry repeatedly in the last couple years, rosicky repeatedly since he arrived, clichy.

How much faster would Eduardo have gotten back to form if he had been loaned out and got consistant games in a league he was more used to, had more confidence in and hadn't aquired a truly horrible injury in, he'd have likely gotten 20 times as many games, fitness and form would have returned, he'd gain confidence and he could have come back to Arsenal with no real issues, instead we barely played him, he never got back from his injury.

Adebayor has been saying he has a loan deal in place with Juve!
I hope that he leaves as he just doesnt try enough!! (Arsenal fans dont mention it)
This window RSC,Ade and Bridge need to go. Johnson can go out on loan as well to get his match fitness up and then he can take one of the hopefully 3 empty registration places.

Well done, WE DIDN'T PLAY EDUARDO you absolute drama queen.

I said REPEATEDLY that we should be playing 4-4-2 giving Eduardo PLENTY of games, we weren't doing that so he should have gone out on loan(and should have left Arsenal due to being one of the dozen+ players we play out of position for no reason).

However, we do play a 4-5-1 system, we play more midfielders than is necessary, we often play 3 utterly woeful midfielders who Ramsey is easily better than. Hence, it makes zero sense to loan him out.

Jesus H Christ, in the ridiculous and non working system we use now playing Eduardo would have meant dropping FORM strikers who were playing well, playing Ramsey right now would mean dropping Denilson, whose been culpable for half the ruddy goals we've conceded in the past few games...... same situation.... no.

IT would be like loaning at Lampard to get fitness while playing Ramires whose utterly rubbish, its ridiculous. The Eduardo situation would be like dropping Drogba to help Sturridge get back to fitness, again retarded.

Oh look not every situation is the same, shock horror. The only consistancy is Wenger making stupid choice after stupid choice. Loan Ramsey, play Denilson, play 4-5-1 when we don't have a single natural winger in the entire squad and he's basically only bought central attacking midfield/withdrawn strikers for the past 5 years.

EDIT:- Just for arguments sake, can you provide any proof Ramsey is as injury prone as Rosicky, who after YEARS of barely playing was still being rushed back in? No, thought not, but for Fabregas, and Rosicky, you have repeated problems and repeatedly running into those same problems in the same way.

Ever heard of learning from your mistakes. If Fabregas has bad hamstrings, and can't play 5 games ALMOST every minute on the pitch in a row, they rest him in stupid games, Rosicky had an injury, you bring him back, he gets reinjured, be a bit more careful the next time, the next 25-368 times be REALLY careful.

This is Ramseys first real injury, sure IF he breaks down a few times then it might be time to start being careful, he's not at that point yet, plenty(read most non Arsenal players) seem to come back from injury fine, even, shockingly, ahead of Schedual. The difference here is Ramsey's an unknown, Rosicky is probably the single most injury prone player Arsenal have ever had and Fabregas works harder than anyone on the team in every game from start to finish, he's getting consistant injuries, a TINY bit of protection, like 3-0 up by the 60th minute, playing him till the late 8xth minute is retarded.

This is brilliant.

If Weebull can draw this from DM with just three non-alphanumeric characters, imagine what it'd be like with an actual sentence...

I'm certainly not going to jump for joy at the prospect of him leaving, he does score goals, like him or not. Whether he is a bad influence on the dressing room I don't know, but it's pretty hard to look like you're putting in effort when you've got Carlos '50000%' Tevez next to you. RSC and Bridge should be off, and ideally a single striker in if RSC and Ade leave. And maybe Iniesta.
