I don't think he's Premiership quality but League One's quite a step down. Having said that, he played for them for a fair bit so might've always fancied managing them one day.

All he did was wish his mate the best and some geordies proceeded to get their knickers in a twist because of it.

Fans will always get thier knickers in a twist when something remotely negative gets said about their club it seems.

He was fairly effusive in his praise, but I mean seriously. We don't have to wish hate on players, just because they go to another club. Liverpool just gave you £35m for a "decent" player. Be happy lads.

I think the Nolan critism is pretty harsh, when he scored against us he celebrated like a mad man, always gives 100% for his team, who gives a **** who he supports if he puts his shift in on that pitch.

Atm yes.

Mark McGee would be a better choice than Rafa as far as I'm concerned.

Not allowing Alonso to be present at the birth of his 1st child was probably his biggest error imho.

Quality man management right there...

Moyes should really let it go at this point.

I could understand his persistence if it was some over-the-line Materazzi-esque insult, but as silly as Fabregas would have been to have said it (or not) he wouldn't have been saying anything that you wouldn't hear out of any plebian conversation about referee blunders lasting longer than five minutes.
