January Transfer Window 2010/2011 Season Rumours/Signings

Elijero Elia and Wolfswinkel have agreed to join Liverpool in principle i hear but issues over the transfer fee. FCUtrecht want him loaned back until season ends, apparently, which makes no sense.

Also apparently been offered Carlton Cole ( :( ) for ~ £8mill , but we'r more interested in Upson.

Two signings there I would actually be quite excited about... although I think Ww has a long term shoulder injury currently from when they played us?

Manu should have loaned us macheda two years ago to get the guy games, confidence and strength for the premier league.

Besides we have strikers to score goals, there was nothing wrong with Yaks goals to games rate prior to joining us and having to suffer Moyes negative tactics anytime we go through a bad patch.

When your stuggling to score not playing any strikers or one alone doesn't help. We destroyed Beattie and Johnson like that. Add Yak, Saha, Vaughan and anichebe to the list. Beckford was always ****.

We're buggered when Tim goes after Wednesday. Especially since Moyes will stick with having one up front so either Yak or Saha, probably Saha up front on his own with Anichebe working off him.

Agree with Macheda as well, SAF should have sent him our way. The lad isn't going to become the next world beater to come under SAF if he's stuck there behind Berba, Rooney and now Hernandez.

We'll probably get ****ing Owen in on loan or something and he'll get injured against Scunthorpe.


In Moyes We Trust though.
 
Bale and Beckham crossing balls into the box = win?

Will be nice to see Beckham back in the EPL but it'll be weird seeing him playing for anyone but Man U.
 
Spurs are also reported to be planning a bid for Pienaar. Starting from £1.5m for him.

Apparently Vela could be off to Bolton. I think that'd be perfect move for him. He's not getting games at Arsenal and clearly hasn't the confidence to feature in Wenger's plans as of yet.

Bolton are doing really well with Owen Coyle, plus I'm sure he can learn a lot from Elmander and Davis etc.

Edit - it'd also push JET up the pecking order which I think is the right thing atm. RvP is a fart away from another few years on the treatment table, Bentdner is a bit funny and Chamakh's out of touch atm.

Edit 2 - wouldn't mind seeing Beckham at Arsenal actually - purely for the experience factor. Plus he could teach Walcott/Rosicky a thing or two.
