January Transfer Window 2010/2011 Season Rumours/Signings

Beckham's more of a central midfielder now since he doesn't have the pace for the wing anymore.

I don't know why Spurs would want him, apart from the revenue he'll probably bring and media hype what has he got that any other Spurs player doesn't have? Apart from taking a free kick? Hell even Bentely can even swing in a cross like him!

As a pundit put it other day, he brings more than just his football to a club.

His professionalism, experience and obviously his ability are huge. No doubt be a great help for younger players, wouldn't you want him helping to teach players crosses etc..?

Maybe Lennon would get a few more in.

I really hope Hughes speaks to him, he'd get Fulham a hell of a lot of money, and we could actually do with him. We even have the number 7 shirt free for him (although he's 23 now?).

Rumours that Hughes is after 4 players, and the main players are: Santa Cruz, Robbie Keane, Stephen Ireland, Steve Morison (less likely), Niko Kranjcar and David Bentley.

Spurs don't need Beckham the footballer but Levy wants the Beckham media spotlight on Spurs for a number of reasons. Also he should be a good influence in the dressing room and on the training pitch.

Plus we could cover a lot of the cost by off loading the pillock who thinks he's the next Beckham to Newcastle.

He could teach Lennon how to cross too :p

probably wont be that much - but even if it is, that is actually still a good deal imo

1) He will sell buckets of shirts

2) He will be a huge motivator in training and as an impact sub

3) His free kicks will probably get Spurs a number of goals even if open play doesnt

Ok that quote's good for a few......months !!!

Would he feel the same if Torres left, or even if Liverpool finished in the bottom 1/2 of the table?

Summer is the real test (not that Utd were ever likely to sign him, like the Heinze deal a few years ago, it just wont happen)

Brazilian and Real Madrid midfielder Kaka could be heading to Manchester United in a loan deal with a permanent £50m move on the cards.

Yep.
Had a good year for Holland last year (Other then the WC finals) but has been struggling at club level since moving.
Could be what he (and we) need.
