I doubt Juve would want to sell any of those. Marchisio *MIGHT* be available since juve have no CL, but that would leave Conte with just 3 MCs. SURPRISINGLY, PSG want Pogba too :p

I just mentioned a player who I feel would be available, and United were interested in him (admittedly, some 2/3 years ago).
 
Are we sure he's not watching Cagliari? Have they got anyone decent? :(

Edit - nevermind, thought Astori was at Juve for some reason! Anyone else? Ibarbo is quick isn't he? Nick will fancy him. :p

Yep, Astori is a Cagliari player. Not sure he is the level of Man United though. Although hardly a bad player. Apart from that, Cagliari have none special imo.

Ibarbo is like Gervinho, just worse.

I didn't say it was, every thing you have just said has backed up the point I was making. People saying that United should be buying the biggest and best players and the ones they have been signing wouldn't make the Madrid bench.

Well none of those players signed in January would have either. It was said that if they don't sign top quality in January it would be shown as a sign no one wanted to come there, my list is purely pointing out that United have rarely signed absolute world class players in the January window, because they usually aren't available. From that list I'd say at the time they were signed only Vidic could be considered world class. Larson was of course but was not in 2007. None of those others went on to be world class. So I would suggest Moyes not getting world class players in Jan isn't a signal that no one wants to join, just exactly what he says, the targets aren't currently available.

He doesn't have that long left on his contract and Borussia are trying to get him to make up his mind on it before his value drops too much.

Real Madrid is the more likely destination for him anyway if the rumours are to be believed.
 
I heard on the radio the other day Moyes has been busy just about every single day possible travelling around Europe and scouting with much of it going unseen or unreported.

He has 8 spots to replace, I imagine it's like playing Fifa Ultimate team.

Not much difference between Vidic, Evra and Saha when they were signed

All very good players and who had very decent to excellent careers at Utd

Evra certainly went onto be world class as well, even though his legs have been letting him down for a season or more( in getting back). Not for as long as the other two but Saha was world class for a couple of seasons imo.

Preferably top 3 for automatic quali -but even in top 4 - Utd should attract world class in the summer, so if Moyes is able to spend lets say £30m on two midfielders in Jan plus Coentroa on loan ( and lets face it nearly any midfielders would strengthen the team at this point), that should still allow £120m + in the summer ( if the amounts bandied about are true).

- Edit a couple of rumours have started this afternoon about Juve being after Vidic in Jan and ready to offer a 3 year deal. If this happens Utd will need a 1st class centre half immediatly....irrespective of Garay possibly arriving in the summer. Probably **** but might help get one of their cm's.....
