Do you see any future for Kagawa? Reckon he will stay if Roonery goes in the summer?

Hard to say. If we do come up with some sort of new system he could see more playing time. In the hopefully unlikely event we lose Rooney in the summer we'll definitely need Kagawa. He'll have to show he's got what it takes between now and the end of the season though, for sure.

Ta :)
Now to BAN anyone who either disagrees with me or ****s off Chelsea, or just G|MP again :p

Curious timing with us about to land Mata... there are some dark arts at work here. :p

Surely we need better wingers first? And some better defenders. Especially if we are going to get that top 4 spot this season.

Dude, I realilse that you may be a fan of Man Utd. I am. But I am realistic. I highly doubt that Man Utd will close the gap on the leaders to get 4th place. They are 7th place and that is exactly where they deserve to be.

We have an average manager who is managing a team whose confidence is shot. This is not going to change overnight.

Normally, to change confidence levels quickly (overnight), the manager needs to be fired. Tottenham are the best example of this.

And with regards to changing wingers - Man Utd need many new players...not just wingers. Even if Mourinho or Fergie were to manage this team, they'd bring in new players (not just wingers).

Mata is about the only player who I rate highly, of all the names mentioned. He is already used to playing in the premiership and plays well at Chelsea. Tried and tested.

IMO we need to be buying 2-3 star players (£35M+) and 2-3 squad/utility/young players, who may come good, every year. Mata is good start and Mr big hair should be sold back to Everton, asap, to save on the wage bill.
I cant believe Moyes paid £27.5 for him.
If Everton wanted to buy him back for £10M, I'd sign the papers right away.

I'm not too clued up on things so bear with me....where would Mata fit into the United team? He's an AMF? Where does that leave Kagawa? Even with Mata in the team we'd have the likes of Cleverly passing away from him so I'm not sure how much of an impact Mata will have.

Please do correct me if I'm wrong.

Edit - this article is on the same wavelength as my thoughts http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...anchester-Uniteds-more-pressing-concerns.html

We'd change our system slightly, a transition aided by the fact our wingers are currently a bit toss.

They owe us Juan! :D

Even though Veron did not work out at Man Utd, I still rated him as a player of the highest order. His problem was that life in the Premier League didnt suit, Perhaps it was the style of his play.

This is the reason why I am VERY reluctant to sign a player who has not played in the PL before. We've been stung before - Forlan, Obertan, Veron come to mind - average/poor in the PL, but great everywhere else.

Juan Mata, though, is tried and tested in the PL, so he should be great at Man Utd.

And as for talk of Cavani - I'd choose Rooney any day of the week. He knows how to score, for Man Utd, in the EPL. Cavani will be a gamble. And besides, the money for Cavani is silly. Rather than bidding £60M (or whatever the fee is) for Cavanni, make that bid for Suarez :p
