*January Transfer Window 2014/15 Season Rumours/Signings*

Did you see that Ballotelli has already sold £50,000 worth of shirts in a day lol

Some BBC bloke said:
"Liverpool's managing director Ian Ayre proudly revealed this week that the club generated more than £50,000 from 'Balotelli-themed shirts' on the day he signed for the Reds.
"How impressive is that for a marquee signing, though? With adult shirts retailing in the Anfield club shop at £49.99 and 'Balotelli 45' costing £15, by my maths that means around 750 were sold - not great for a club with an estimated global fan base of 70m..."

Doesn't sound that good when you look at it like that :p

I've said this time and time again, this shirt sales stuff is a myth.

People massively overestimate how many replica shirts actually get sold and most importantly forget that clubs sell off the rights to their shirts too.

The Balotelli figure was the number of shirts sold through the club stores on his first day but when you take off the amount of shirts they'd have sold regardless of Balotelli (shirts with Gerrard or Sterling on the back) and factor in the cost of them buying in the shirts from Warrior, the club makes pennies.

A bunch of paper selling baloney written by a bunch of underpaid baboons. If you wanted Hummels, You would have done it BEFORE you gave them thier "Jewel" back in Kagawa. I said last year if both sides wanted to improve they should do a swap. They were losing Lewandowski and Kagawa and Hernandez could have formed the partnership him and Lewie shared. United did not want them anyways and could afford to let both go. And all Dortmund would have lost was Hummels when they have Ginter on the radar and a young lad called Gunter too both probably the future Hummels.

As for the Ronaldo talk, Would i drop Mata to spend £60m on a 30 year old who couldnt wait to get out? Or would i want to exercise the no one is bigger than the club and let him stew in his own crap? Good question, If Rooney Falcao and RVP cannnot get 20 each per year then i would let Falcao leave for Ronaldo and go back to 4-2-3-1 with Ronaldo and Angel on the wings with Rooney as the number 10 and RVP up front.

The Ronaldo rumours aren't going away.

The rumours didn't go away last year either... until he signed a new contract until 2018.

How much do you think Madrid would want for a player who has years left on his contract and averages more than a goal per game?

He's just negotiating a new contract, the same as last time. His agent puts out some stories about going to Man U/Chelsea, and then RM give him a pay rise.

Even Real would be barking mad to pay £500/week

Fantastic player but just isnt worth it.

Also signing (by then) another over 30 on a longish contract ......

As mentioned previously, that money should go on CM /Central Defence first and foremost

His first contract when he left United with increases was supposed to be 500k per week in his last year. I imagine he's not far off that anyway. Can't see United paying it, they are just going to be used as leverage and if United don't play the game PSG will start to be used instead.
