Chelsea should just sign Aubameyang instead, rather than trying to get these target men.

I am hoping he comes to the league though as it'll be interesting to see how well he does.

Look if Dortmund don’t want to sell Auba to us then screw them, let them deal with a player who doesn’t want to play for them.

We don’t need strikers, we need some decent defenders and a DM more importantly.

By the sounds of it, it’s Dortmund that are holding things up as they won’t let Auba go until they get a replacement for him. That’s why we offered Giroud to them but he’s not interested in going there.
Not really sure if this is going to happen, I’d give it till end of the night and if things haven’t changed. Tell Dortmund to do one, we aren’t that much in a need for another sulky striker.

One injury results in us downgrading 3 positions because we don't have another decent attacker to come into the side.

As I've said several times, I'm not overly fussed about us signing a top class centre forward but we need to sign another quality attacker so if you are having to move Salah central at least you've got a similar quality player coming into the side in his place.

I agree with that totally, we effectively want a replacement (or two) for Coutinho so we have 4-5 high quality attackers. My real point was that they don't need to be a like for like with Sturridge

yea id say dortmund can go walk mate.

Rotate Giroud and Lacazette and we should be fine.

Honestly we should play Giroud more often in away games especially. Lacazette has been average and barely an upgrade over Giroud lets be honest here

Why?? He’s not tall enough for them, they want a tall lanky striker as they put a lot of balls in the air.

Perhaps they should look at Crouch if they want someone tall lol b

Agree. Chelsea play more direct than Arsenal. Aubamayang suits Arsenals game more than Chelsea as we play on the floor and in behind. Chelsea have the most crosses in to the box of all teams in the premier league. They need someone good with his head.

Which I think Morata is actually not bad with and yet they want another striker.

Not a bad shout it would be interesting and they could add a striker in with the deal

Because it’s a reasonable deal for a 23 year old, rather than paying stupid money for a 29 year old player in a one horse race maybe?

Or just maybe because they haven’t been bent over in fees and wages?

It was reported enough when people like robhino did it to them or tevez.

Yes, but not including all other fees, like with the Sanchez deal. It did make me laugh that Pep was moaning about how City are on a budget as he's sat there with a £200m defence!
