Aubameyang incoming robbo. he aint going chelsea. no chance. His practically signed for arsenal according to reports
Wenger doesnt have a say anymore apparently. Is Giroud going to Chelski on a loan or permanent basis??
If he does go, he will be a big miss for us especially as a super sub. I know I’m not his biggest fan but we found a use for him as a super sub.
God help us if Lacazette gets injured long term which will invariably happen no doubt.
Why the **** are we selling or giving our players to rivals?? I don’t understand it, has Wenger lost his mind?? Stupid question to ask seeing as he has lost his mind years ago lol.
Look if Dortmund don’t want to sell Auba to us then screw them, let them deal with a player who doesn’t want to play for them.
We don’t need strikers, we need some decent defenders and a DM more importantly.
yea i just read that now. what a messI know it looks likely, but far from guaranteed assuming this is true: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42867981
By the sounds of it, it’s Dortmund that are holding things up as they won’t let Auba go until they get a replacement for him. That’s why we offered Giroud to them but he’s not interested in going there.Thing is Arsenal should not let it affect the transfer. Sign Aubamayang and then deal with Giroud.
I agree with that totally, we effectively want a replacement (or two) for Coutinho so we have 4-5 high quality attackers. My real point was that they don't need to be a like for like with SturridgeBefore we get into more detail, Lallana's started 1 game all season and is now injured again and Wijnaldum has played as a CB more times than a member of our front 3 in the entire time he's been with us. Even still, you can't look at it this way. In Henderson, Can, Milner, Wijnaldum, Ox and Lallana we have 6 players for our 3 midfield positions - that would be just about ok if 2 of the 6 hadn't had terrible injury records over the last couple of years. You cannot rely on Ox or Wijnaldum to cover the front 3 when we're an injury away from being down to our bare bones in midfield.
Even if everybody was fit and available, think about what you're suggesting. Firmino gets injured so you move Salah central - as good as Salah's been he's not as good a centre forward as Firmino. Ox moves into Salah's role - he can do a job there but not as good as Salah. Milner comes in for Ox - he can do a job again but we'll be lacking an attacking threat from midfield. One injury results in us downgrading 3 positions because we don't have another decent attacker to come into the side.
As I've said several times, I'm not overly fussed about us signing a top class centre forward but we need to sign another quality attacker so if you are having to move Salah central at least you've got a similar quality player coming into the side in his place.
yea id say dortmund can go walk mate.By the sounds of it, it’s Dortmund that are holding things up as they won’t let Auba go until they get a replacement for him. That’s why we offered Giroud to them but he’s not interested in going there.
Not really sure if this is going to happen, I’d give it till end of the night and if things haven’t changed. Tell Dortmund to do one, we aren’t that much in a need for another sulky striker.
Why?? He’s not tall enough for them, they want a tall lanky striker as they put a lot of balls in the air.Chelsea should just sign Aubameyang instead, rather than trying to get these target men.
I am hoping he comes to the league though as it'll be interesting to see how well he does.

Perhaps they should look at Crouch if they want someone tall lol b
Not a bad shout it would be interesting and they could add a striker in with the dealChelsea should just sign Aubameyang instead, rather than trying to get these target men.

Laporte to Citeh done and dusted.
And not a single headline including wages/agent fees/etc, funny that.
Says who ? As robbo says no reports of figuresBecause it’s a reasonable deal for a 23 year old, rather than paying stupid money for a 29 year old player in a one horse race maybe?
Or just maybe because they haven’t been bent over in fees and wages?
It was reported enough when people like robhino did it to them or tevez.

The BBC literally have the fee in the headline. Then in the third paragraph had how much they’ve spent on defenders in the last year.
Because it’s not that news worthy I guess compared to recent other deals. If he was on 500k per week and the agent bent them over I’m sure it will come out or be reported.
