Japanese Grand Prix 2012, Suzuka - Race 15/20

Is anybody else routing for Alonso to win the championship now that Hamilton is so far behind?

Even though i hate Alonso i am surprised how well he has done with a crap car that Ferrari have given him, most people will say that McLaren has given him the title with all the screw ups they have done over the season but i would rather like Alonso win the title over that 1 finger *****.
 
I wouldn't say I was routing for him, but he's definitely earned it.

McLaren have the best car and Alonso is the best driver. For Vettel to win it means both the former have screwed up. We know McLaren already have, but if Alonso did too and Vettel won, I think people would feel a bit cheated that neither the best car or the best driver won.

Suprised at Massa being top but I guess he would be with how he has qualified for most of the season relative to the car's pace!
 
Bit meaningless really though as those that don't qualify well in a reasonable car will be top. I think JB topped it in 2010 didn't he? Which was mainly due to overtaking the whole field in Canada if I remember correctly.
 
If it can't be Hamilton winning the championship then alonso would be my 2nd choice.

There's still plenty points up for grabs tho.

1 dnf for alonso and anyone can be back In It.
 
lewis has manned up and stepped about from the nipple of mclaren i have no doubt we will see a very different hamilton for the rest of this seasons races.

the negative effect mclaren have had on him must have cost him atleast 3 tenths

Lewis should win this race with ease, I think nobody will be able to match him round here since Jenson has 5 place drop, the rest will be fighting for 2nd.
