Tbh reading this last page you all come across as passive aggressive, bitter, petulant and frankly a bit sad.

I doubt any of you would recourse with one another like this in real life, so why be so rude and nasty to one another online.

Ah, a seemingly out of nowhere personal attack and lack of response to a simple question about a term used in your own post. What a sign of someone who's engaging in good faith! Think of me what you may, I at least have the decency to engage in conversation with you.

My post was - although worded rather bluntly - not intended as a gotcha. I genuinely believe that you don't understand what the alt-right are, something quite common among those who use the term, and I wish to make sure this is made clear. JBP is definitely not their guy.
 
Alt-right is a pretty loosely defined term, it can be anything from white supremacy to just people who dislike woke identity politics. It's normally just used as a slur by people who subscribe to identity politics though

The alt-right movement espouses a pseudo-scientific form of racism, which promotes a form of identity politics in favor of European Americans and white people internationally, to the disfavor of all other groups. Anti-egalitarian, it rejects the liberal democratic basis of U.S. governance, and opposes both the conservative and liberal wings of the country's political mainstream.


Given how the usual bunch pipe in support of billionaires, anti-gun control, anti-choice, biden-is-a-paedo, white-people-are-disadvantaged -- I'd say that is a pretty fair description tbh. And I'd say a bible bashing "victim of the woke" saying he is going to cancel folk is pretty appealing.

Some of the stuff he used to say was sensible and useful but he is getting increasingly worse now. That tweet is awful.
