Just Arrived! VSonic VSD3S

Go for the non-detachable version. Almost all their faults are caused by insufficient strain relief at the 2 pin connector. The problem does not exist, according to LMUE support, in the non-detachable version.

Oh right; same issue as me. Couple of pages back I detailed what I did - cost me £7.50, might cost more for you for postage. Or you can get a new cable from LMUE.

If its taking a while, let me know, I'll give you my spare :)

Can't get used to these going over the ears because the wire keeps popping off over the top of my ear and hanging loose, very annoying. Pushing the toggle right up to my chin helps a bit but that doesn't feel particularly comfortable either.

Maybe I need to dig out the plastic hooks and see if they help.

they do help as i'm trying them now, after having similar problems due to the light weight cabling.

only slight problem with the ones supplied is you cant really mould them to your ear, so they are a bit loose.

Odd. Mine are very secure behind my ears, and I have the chin slider about 4" short of chin. Do try the plastic hooks, some people swear by them for over-the-ear headphones.

You can only get them from Singapore, from a company called Lend Me Ur Ears. They are the ONLY official stockist of VSonic and so the only place that offers a valid warranty on them.

Don't worry about shipping times or customs (never been stung and generally shipping takes about 3-5 business days in my 4x experience).

Job done, will order tonight.

Sick of these bluetooth sony things, since losing my IEMS :(

VSD3S always had a right angled connector? Looks like they just reshaped it to suit style of the headphone housing.

I am curious about the sound changes though.

Well mine have arrived! Ordered Saturday and turned up Friday so can't fault that at all.

It is a particularly chunky right-angled connector but I'm hoping it means they are less prone to a loose connection.
Also no bi-flange tips that I can see included, I don't want them but that isn't the point... :p

I've put the tips off my Xiaomi Pistons on anyway as I found the Vsonics too deep and not comfortable, the Piston ones are a lot more shallow in design and just seem to seal better for me.

Got these the other day.

So impressed with what they can do for such a cheap set of IEMs. Was watching a movie, an explosion happened and I could've sworn I was wearing my cans for a second.
