Just had the worst phone call of my life

Sorry Tank, I don't really know what to say. It's rare that I'm left wanting for words.

I know it will probably sound cliché, but I do mean it: my thoughts are with you and your family mate.

:(

Sorry to hear about the recent progressions. Let all her friends know her situation so they can come see and support her and also support you too.

I hope she's able to recover from the stroke.

All the best.

Get off the internet and go see her!

Like, now. :(

I posted while the taxi was on its way guys :).

Just got back thank you for all the kind words everyone, my mum had what is known as a TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack) which resulted in her losing feelings down the right side of her body severely impacting her motor skills and speech.

Not so long after this manic situation my nephew had a very bad asthma attack and had to be put on a nebuliser, from the seriousness of his breathing he will be placed into an induced coma to reduce the symptoms.

It never rains but it pours. Hope that your nephew is going to be ok. I'm glad to hear that it wasn’t a stroke. This TIA sounds horrible has she been kept ion hospital?

Best wishes to them both and you.

Thank you, she started to get full motion and feeling back of her body that evening so she discharged herself, just worried it may reoccur again. My nephew who had the asthma attack is on his way up to London hospital as I type, as they specialise with severe asthma and will want to put him in a drug induced coma.
