You really struggle with this don't you. I said that maybe one of them needs to be taught respect the good old fashioned way and now you're comparing us to an Iranian regime.

If it drizzles a bit do you also start building an ark?
 
If I saw some Just Oil protestors blocking my way I think I'd gladly shove a few of them over and take all their signs. No-one is on their side they deserve everything they get to be honest.

There have been instances of arrest, there have been instances where no arrests have been deemed a requirement. The police make the call based on the guidance they've been given. It's no more complicated than that.

Yes obviously. But who gave the guidance and why? We can all see that the law is being broken and in many cases the police are told to take no action other than to protect the protesters from the angry public.

Well at least nowadays, with the energy crisis, mortgage interest increases and inflation of many staple goods, people won't be travelling because they can't afford to.

Add in the transport strikes and they can't travel because there are no planes or trains to catch.

However you can catch a disease or injure yourself in your daily routine and guess what everyone else is on strike or the ambulance can't get through the slow marches.

So you just curl up and die saving the planet the effects of your existence. Here's to a low carbon form of immolation.

There is a difference in what you call disputes, blocking my train or sitting infront of my car is not a dispute, its an attack.

The reason people do not generally do stuff like that, is the threat of violence, with the police there eliminating that threat, people will behave in that manner.

No its different entirely, when tube staff go on strike i might have to walk, a 30min journey becomes a 100minute walk at a fast pace.

When you block traffic you have trapped people there, its the same thing as if i protest you for any reason and simply do not allow you to go anywhere

You'll call the police and the police will remove me, and no doubt i will be charged for some sort of stalking and given a restraining order.

The police when they arrive should order them to the pavement, if they refuse they should be arrested, simple as that.

Citizens should, drag them to the pavement. Not beat them up.

If these protesters actually want to make a difference, instead of causing problems like sitting protests, which are actually self destructive because forcing traffic to stop causes cars to sit and idle for long periods of time whilst waiting to protesters to get out of the way, which actually increase petrol consuption. why don't they use their bright minds, band together and actually develope a cheaper way of making batteries, (obviously for electric car) so us that have to actually use evil 'petrol' cars will be able to lessen their oil consumption with having to spend mega bucks (or maybe find a way to store hydrogen)

Reminds me of the campaign for nuclear disarmament (CND) protest group that has been active for decades. Lots of fuss and comotion, Results: zero

They won't be happy until everyone works from home and everyone has to do errands on a shared donkey you need to pre-book 3 weeks in advance. Industry can be left to wallow and die in the UK.

Going to be a counter movement soon enough and these knobs have only themselves to blame.
