***kickstarter***

Marketing 101, when you are launching a new razor technology don't rock a big beard or stubble when asking for funding, it makes me think your product doesn't work :p.

I thought the same thing when watching the video.

Looking at the comments, I think they are going to upload more videos and we still have 26 days to back it :)

If they'd shown it actually working on a guys face with before and after shots, I would have put my money in to it, so I'll hold off for the moment.

This.

If it was fully working, this would be the first and most obvious thing to display.

They'd be out in the streets offering it to random people for a trial.

Highly suspicious in my view.

There is a demonstration video up now, but as it says it's only a prototype and can only be made better when it's mass produced :S Takes him a good number of scrapes to shave a few hairs on the back of his hand though.

Things usually get worse with mass production.

Not strictly kickstartet, but I need a http://glowforge.com/ in my life, why can't I have lots of money sitting around.

And to the disappointment of the 3 people (well alright actually they somehow convinced a fair few more than that) who thought taking 45 minutes to shave and smelling like burnt hair afterwards was a good idea: The razor has had it's kickstarter pulled.

lol, you forgot about having to wear sunglasses too :p

Sounded cool on paper, but I was not convinced by their prototype.

Well you can't help some folk.

Think some people are in love with the idea and aren't seeing the reality here, a video where it takes 2 minutes to shave a couple of loose hairs on the back of the wrist, getting your kickstarter pulled because you can't demonstrate a working prototype and people are still throwing money at them.
