Kids these days, eh?

I am, it’s hard to believe that there are people chatting this nonsense on a thread where a 9yo got stabbed by a grown man while playing.
Wut? No one is taking away the tragedy of what has happened, what we're saying is Boston is a dump (more of a dump!) largely due to the new demographic.

2 seperate discusions, but good of you to make this about you. U ok hun? PM me.

Minority groups can have a massive effect, particularly on a local scale.

Indeed, one of the best explanations of why minority actions have led to world changing events I have heard came from the erudite and staunchly none PC Brigitte Gabriel.

Despite her remarkably insightful comments being roundly condemned by the eternally offended, it is still possible to hear her incisive verdict on how small sections of othewise decent society should neither be ignored nor excused. A female orator of distinction!

So 11% of Boston population has somehow managed to transform the whole town? Are you thinking clear?

majority of Boston is British born and bred and with a lot more wealth than your average Eastern European who rents and has little power to “turn” a whole town into something else. You’re just chatting crap because the little racist inside you can’t stop blaming “them” rather than just admitting that many parts of uk are simply holes. It’s the same in every country. Literally.
you think the majority of people in any bad area are all criminal scum or what? usually a bunch of 15year olds give an area a no go area reputation and cause the majority of the crime.

like those people who have been arrested 500 times yet never seem to ever get prison sentences

You'll be hoping for Liz Truss to be our next PM then, or even voting for her should you be a Tory Party member?

"In an awkward moment during the first televised head-to-head Tory leadership debate, Liz Truss was challenged about a passage in the book Britannia Unchained, which she co-authored in 2012 when she was a new intake backbencher seeking to make her mark as a next-generation Thatcherite.

The passage in question is infamous, reading as it does: “Once they enter the workplace, the British are among the worst idlers in the world. We work among the lowest hours, we retire early and our productivity is poor. Whereas Indian children aspire to be doctors or businessmen, the British are more interested in football and pop music.”

From today's Guardian :)

Other than the hours worked and retirement bits, comment is pretty much bang on.

Kids these days? This pales in comparison to the Bulger murder back in 1993.

Oh do tell us all the details about any possible planning, the run up to the murder and the motive, I am sure we are all ears to know the details the media and police are withholding from us, but you seem privy to.

Maybe this girl's family will back up your opinion that this child's murder is but pale in comparison to any other child's murder, but somehow I doubt it. A bizarre thing to say without any apparent knowledge of any facts at all. IMO.

I didn't mean it wasn't an awful thing to happen to someone. I meant it more towards the op saying "kids these days" as there have been many child murderers spanning a long time. Calm yourself down.

I thought it probably an ill phrased, rather than a malicious post, so that's why I didn't give you both barrels :)

So the kids in the OP are totally normal? Lol.

It's disturbing when anyone feels the need to stab someone else, but especially disturbing when an adult (if the suspect is the perpetrator) feels the need to stab a 9 year old to death.

Frankly, I think they're on the same level.

I see the kid has been given a minimum of 16 years. Which means he could be released at 30, when he's a fully mature adult capable of even worse violence. Great idea!

The best part about the death penalty is that it has a 100% success rate against recidivism.

And there are very good reasons why we do not have it anymore. Guilford 4. Birmingham 6.
Those innocent men would have been killed had we still used the death penalty. Worse still, it's unlikely we would have ever had the corruption uncovered and been non-the-wiser that innocent men were sent to their deaths by corrupt coppers.

The problem with "absolute" punishments is that the system is both flawed and open to possible corruption.

Was just talking so someone today about these "people" and how they should be chemically castrated. The unfortunate thing is that idiots and thugs breed idiots and thugs. Better educated people are having less babies, so the balance will tip at some point.

They need to be stopped from being able to breed and be banged up with more severe sentencing.

There's a dress code for witnessing executions in some US prisons, as this dim woman found out to her chagrin :) I wonder about these air heads, it can't take too much nous to realsise visiting a prison full of rampant male offenders in a short skirt is probably putting needless potential pressure on those that have to keep the savages in order :)

A journalist was forced to change her outfit while attending the execution of a death-row inmate in Alabama after prison officials said her skirt was too short.

Ivana Hrynkiw Shatara, managing producer for website AL.com, says she was also told her open-toed shoes were too revealing by a member of staff at the Alabama Department of Corrections (ADOC).

Ms Hrynkiw Shatara was stopped as she arrived at the media centre at William C Holman Correctional Facility in the city of Atmore and told her outfit violated the prison dress code.

She visited the prison on 28 July to cover the execution of Joe Nathan James Jr, sentenced to death for killing his ex-girlfriend, Faith Hall, 26, in 1994.

"What ya' wearing to the execution today Ivana?"

"Oh, the usual, stilettos and a mini skirt, and you?"
