I've just bought a ps5 that's paired with my c8 in the sitting room so I'll wait a bit. Once I get the c2 I'll put both 3090 and ps5 in the same room and that will be dream gaming heaven for me. I'll be waiting for the 42 c2 to drop under a grand though.Richer sounds now doing this for 1199 with code RSTV100.
Seems LG tried their luck at 1399, and saw the demand wasn't there. Definitely see this being 999 relatively soon, June or July.
Yeah, that price is silly for a 42”. Needed to be £999 to fly off the shelves.Richer sounds now doing this for 1199 with code RSTV100.

Yup that's the one I got.You all got the Platinum Cashback Everyday Cashback with Amex? My understanding is that one has no fees but gives you access to cash back offers like the Dell one mention in the Alienware QD-OLED thread?
@Nexus18 did you recently get one? How long did it take?
It’s too late for me thenYup that's the one I got.
Maybe about a week or 2, got it 3 years ago so can't quite remember exactly
I can refer people and we both get cashback
If approved and you spend £1 you get £10It’s too late for me then
How much cashback? Might do it at a later date
Do you get 1% cash back on everything?
I used to have Amex via barclaycard many years ago and that was 1% cashback on everything. Then they removed it and only kept the Visa card which only has 0.5% on everything which I use on big purchases usually. If approved and you spend £1 you get £10
I think it has changed now but iirc when I first joined for the first year it was 3 to 5% depending on how much you spent in total. I don't think it's as good of an offer now tbh, as of now, I think it's 0.5 or 1% depending on how much your bill comes to.
That’s the one I would consider as no fees:You still can get 125 back during first 3 months:

Was considering this as a gaming monitor but at £1200-1300 it's definitely overpriced. Will probably wait until a good sale/offer. Would buy this if it drops below £1000.
That's true - but if you want to use it as monitor 42 is actually premium over 48I think it's difficult to justify buying the 42" (unless you're constrained by space) when for just a little bit more you can buy the next size up.

Your link has a £25 a year fee. I already have a credit card with a fee I use for shopping etc which pays for its self and leaves some cashback each month, don’t need another one with a fee, just need it for cashback offers and big purchases
This site can give you an impression wether you need it or not:Do you guys think this will need a VESA adapter on the back to mount on a monitor arm, a bit like the 48 if I remember correctly?

I think he asked for an adapter for a monitor mount - in this case we will need one, as most monitor arms have vesa 75x75 and 100x100, while 42c2 has vesa 200x300. You need adapter like this:From pics I have seen no. Looks similar to the bigger oleds which you attach directly to the vesa mount, should be able to mount directly it looks like. I hope so anyways as mounting mine as soon as it arrives.
