I doubt the preorders will be fulfilled since it costs £400 everywhere else and they need to get new stock.

i've refrained so far but have rapidly run out of patience. I posted in the customer service (lol) forum weds evening asking for an update on this monitor. The post has been viewed 8 times and yet not one single acknowledgement. I've also sent a web note via the website with still no joy.

I'm mightily peeved now. Ocuk have had a lot of money from me recently inc £300 in good faith for this monitor. It speaks volumes that they cannot even reply with a were sorry, it.s out of our hands, please ring for a full and immediate refund if you wish.

However ocuk will respond instantly should i post a competitors name on here. Ocuk are not the only retailer to list these for pre-order. Google w2600hp. A large competitor that won an award for service also lists this monitor at the same price with free delivery as you.ve spent over -£50. Whats more they don.t charge your card for pre orders UNTIL the stock is ready to ship.

Can you be 100% sure it's actually an -HP and not an -H though? I really don't want to go through this palaver all over again.

And yeah, it does seem increasingly likely that OC have made a ****-up over this and simply want people to lose patience and ask for a refund rather than honour the the original price. :rolleyes:

I ordered on the 19th, when the ETA was showing as the 20th (still have the screen shot too).

My patience is wearing thin as have called OC a couple of times and was told either by the end of the week or early next week (both of which passed many weeks ago). Some kind of update / regular contact would be appreciated even if its just to say no news yet.

Anyhow, guess I'm number 8

Sorry for the lack of replies on the forums guys. I was on holiday last week but I've got back today and LG still haven't got back to us.

It's been confirmed that that the pricing was wrong for the IPS panel. Both OcUK and our supplier checked with LG multiple times to confirm it was correct and they agreed that it was definitely the S-IPS for that price.

We can't offer the monitor for sale any longer at the pre-order price but I'm trying to get LG to ship us the correct version at the same price for all the guys who have ordered already. It's not going to be anything instant but it'll be as soon as physically possible.

That's great SW, thanks for the update. Thought you may not have been about as you had no activity on the forums for ages. Bit of a bad mix up for LG, but possible great news for those of us that took the plunge and kept the faith!

Can you be any more specific than "not going to be anything instant" I don't expect a specific date (it would be nice though) just an idea of how long it will take for LG to agree or not. Will they drag their feet for a few weeks hoping you go away?

I don't have any information at all. I've re-opened discussions this morning so until I hear back I've got no idea.
