Was feeling a bit tired this morning, 3 nights in a row of poor sleep so decided to double scoop craze. O lawdy lawd

DB Press 25kg 10 27.5kg 8 8 8 - Easy, needed to use 30s really but they are being repaired and the 32s were too heavy :(
BB Press 50kg 8 55kg 6+2 5+3 5+2 - love having a spotter
Seated DB sideraise 10kg 12 12 8+4 - The burn was strong in this one
Bent over db flys 10kg 10 10 8
Face pulls 40kg 8 8 6

Deads 60kg 8 100kg 6 120kg 4 140kg 3 150kg 1 120kg 6 100kg 6 - Pretty sure my deads have got worse every week so far. Yeah i got the heavier single but the 140s barely went up even with so much less beforehand and the 150 was lolworthy. Dirty reps, all back power so got a strong pump.
BoR 60kg 8 8 65kg 8 6 - Lol forgot what i was doing. Better than last week but back felt **** cos of pump.
Pullups 8 8 8 - Yeah these are getting easy now.

Back has been feeling a little jaffed since friday. Not snap jaffed, more typical back ache jaffed. Think it's mainly my desk chair not doing me any favours but the deads can't have helped. RIP.

That's very close to the strongest DB Press i've done, I think the completely upright seated BB has translated over pretty well. Wanted a couple more sets on the BB today but spotter was busy training and i can't unrack it myself with anything over 40kg without some nasty shoulder feels. (bar sits at almost full extension, behind the head :D)

Grrr post didn't post, try again.

For benching a stable base is crucial, and what better stable base then a strong back.

Rows are awesome here, db rows, bent over rows, pull ups are all great.
Don't neglect your triceps either, CGBP is a really good exercise.

Chest gains are the hardest to have and you just need to be hitting it with crazy volume if you want to add mass.




Clearly the advice has been followed :)

Felt like a total off day, was working till way late last night and barely slept. Didn't go so bad in the end though.

Deadlifts 60kg 8 100kg 5 5 5 5 5 120kg 2 1 1 130kg 1 1 - Mixed grip and form practice. Back still isn't right but i have no idea what the problem is and it doesn't get any worse or seem to affect deads. Mixed - meh it's improving.
