LOST..... How do you think it will end

This was all explained was it not? They were brought to the Island by the Dharma to be experimented on, as they were also zoologists. When they were all killed off by Ben and the others, the polar bears escaped. Don't think there was anything more sinister than that.

Yes, they were brought to the Island by Dharma. why would a group studying electromagnetism want to experiment on bears? The explanation was given BEFORE the island moved and before the Losties had any idea about the purpose of the island. Also, if you remember the cages from S3, there were tests on them to push and hit things, this links in really imo. Also, iirc, the explanation given was to see if Polar bears and survive in 'different climates', why would that mean they would have to do tests? The writers made sure we knew about the cages and their purpose. The 'Others' being the Others would hate to lose a person just becuase a wheel had to be turned, why not find a better alternative?

Yes, 16 episodes + the two hour finale. Should be 20+ could have answered stuff in such better ways with a bit more time. Guess viewing figures decreased after Season 2/3 hence the small amount of episodes after that.

Lol no, if you remember correctly it was the Hollywood writers strike that caused the shorting of the episode numbers, and after that it just stuck.

I see. Some new news, apparently a final episode act piece of info thing, kinda like a summery of what props they need and a basic overview of what happens has been left in a restaurant by a producer. I've read what it said but of course I won't spoil anything ;).

Och that's all we need, stuff like that floating about the internet. Words cannot describe how angry Id be if I found out the ending before it aired.

Anyone ever wondered about why the Polar bears were on the island? (Stole from lost pedia)

What if the reason the polar bears were really on the island was to turn the wheel that moves the island.

1. It's the only place that is close to the natural habitat of the bears ei: its cold.
2. Ben had a real hard time pushing it himself.

3. It would be better to have a polar bear turn it because then you don't have to send a human to Tunisia. (Polar bear skeleton was found in Tunisia).

4. The polar bear that Charlotte found in Tunisia had a large collar on it, which could have been attached to the wheel.

5. And they kept the polar bears in the cages by the Hydra station when they didn't need to move the island.

sorry, but LOL - obvious post is obvious

Wow. The polar bear thing I've not even given a thought about in a long time, but that is a very good explanation. But.. who brang the polar bears to the island? The Dharma?

And I expected better from he who has a Lost sig!

I thought I read somewhere that only a handful of people had access to the script for the final act, ie. not even any actors had read it yet? Hmmphh.

They will all goto sleep and wake up in a room similar to "Saw" where they have to complete tasks to live.

Who will live? I don't want to spoil that ;)
