Finished it last night. As others have said, the final show down was a bit of an anticlimax.

Did I miss any explanation of where the **** this super suit came from?!?

Generally it had me wanting to see the next episode, right through the end, but I can't help but think they didn't really finish this season, leaving it for S2. I prefer a show to wrap up the current story line, but tease to the next.

He said it was Hammertech (Tony Stark's rival in case you didn't watch/follow the crappy Iron Man 2). How he actually got the damn thing though...?

I finished this last night and was disappointed with the series in general. I found it to be far too long and drawn out, especially the first half, not enough story for thirteen episodes. It tried too hard for the blaxploitation vibe. The 'bad guy' was pretty poor and the final showdown boring. Not saying it was rubbish, just not up to the standard of Daredevil or for that matter Jessica Jones, which I liked. On the plus side, Rosario Dawson is just stunning and Simone Cook aint too shabby either!

I was actually thinking this morning, her boobs seemed quite prominent in the first few eps (not just the cleavage in the club) and then they seemed to take a back seat. Good job in some ways, they were quite a distraction.

I thought the first half of the series was much better than the second. The second half made absolutely 0 sense.

Diamondback was supposed to be some sort of big shot puppet master behind the scenes and yet when he emerges from the shadows he is straight up retarded.

The siege at the club makes no sense. The police looking for Cage instead of the person who took the club and had loads of henchman with guns killing people. The siege ending and the police going "phew, thank god thats over now lets just ignore who was behind it".

Diamondback killing the cop shouting "I'm Luke Cage" which totally makes sense considering he hasn't killed a single person including the hundreds of gangsters he has incapacitated and how he has only ever done good.

The armed response unit getting orders at the end to shoot when you have a clear shot yet they just ignore that order.

Diamondbacks suit clearly has a power source at the back of it that Cage could easily rip off or damage but he doesn't bother.

The whole second half just felt like it was written by an idiot.

Summed it up nicely. Fingers crossed they make use of the Daredevil writers for the next season (and hope that they weren't using them already).

I was trying to really hard figure out how all these obvious plot holes might make sense. The only one I could come up with is the SWAT team leader was on Diamond backs payroll.

I thought it was a bit preachy in the extreme, to be honest. When I watched Luke Cage in Jessica Jones, I was hyped - I wanted that Luke. This one portrayed white people as not to be trusted, that black people were still oppressed.

I kind of thought it might have been directed by someone who talks like this:

The biggest crime of all, was that it was just plain boring. I wouldn't have minded being told that I was an evil white dude so much if there'd at least been something interesting to help digest the propaganda.

This was so boring I gave up after 4 episodes.
I was also annoyed at how bad the action was and that he shot himself in the stomach about 100m from the guards outside "Fort Knox" and they didn't even react.

I'm struggling to get through this one. I think i have managed to watch 7 episodes but after the first 4/5 its been big gaps in between. Just doesnt grip me or make me care/want to watch it. Juice from Sons of Anarchy being in it and constantly looking like hes about to kiss someone doesnt help matters, but the bad guy who thinks hes snipes from demolition man is pretty naff too. I did like Cornell but in general i dont really care about any of the characters.

Roll on the punisher series.

Agree with all of the above. Its just total rubbish and incredibly boring! I'm only enduring my way through it just in case there are connections or links to this in future series of DD/Punisher/JJ/Defenders etc. That's the ONLY reason though, otherwise I'd turn it off. They really dropped the ball with this one in comparison to DD & JJ.

I with you on this. That's the only reason I kept with it too. Hope Iron Fist is much, much better next month.

I watched this a while ago.

It was just okay. The majority of the characters were acted so poorly (including Luke Cage) that it kind of ruined it for me.
