Mafia 3

Just got my key from cdkeys, hopefully it will not be as bad as they say. I don’t care about the 30fps lock as long as it plays smooth and is a good game. That said, they must have know that pc gamers would go ape**** over 30fps no matter how good it is.
 
Oh dear, guess I'll wait for it to be in a Steam sale then.

Shame was looking forward to this, hopefully it's fixed by Christmas.

Hang on they wouldn't have to give a statement if they made the game proper instead of trying to gimp us a shoddy console port.
 
Love the way they introduce you to the character/back story and the voice acting is really quite good. Everything you expect from a mafia game. Driving in sim mode is quite good definite heft to the vehicles. Gunplay is satisfying as is the brawling if a little simplistic. Graphically, really nice artistic style to the visuals and aside from the 30fps cap no stuttering etc that some releases have been plagued with.

Overall I'm enjoying it just a shame about the 30fps cap.
 
What I dont understand if it is indeed getting 60fps why not at release? Also why put yourself in this situation all its giving you is bad press.

Still... Another major release totally ballsed up :/

Not sure what is happening with the gaming industry right now, but I don't like it :(

...Why? Why on earth would you do that, when one platform is significantly more capable than the others? Why would you not just unlock the framerate and let it run how it runs? I assume the answer is that it was running like absolute garbage above 30fps ala The Evil Within, so they capped it to avoid a different ****storm about another poor, lazy PC port.
 
Why take a day before release to post such crap? Surely all these months leading up the game Q&A testing didn't someone say why 30fps? you will get back lash for this.

Probably one of, or the main reason they didn't give review copies.

I don't see why it was locked, unless it's a physics thing possibly?
