What about oral / anal =D.

I asked this a few times, and he just resorts to calling me thick lol.

Don't think I got an answer about homosexuality either? I believe generally faiths tend to damn homosexuality, so once again these poor individuals get a raw deal, and get sent straight to hell through no fault of their own

Nope... No (guaranteed) reversal...

Sure fair enough...but the fact remains that having a vasectomy is against islam...simple as that...thats why when it comes to family planning islam gives us other choices to use rather than take the cutting open of certain body areas to stop the ability to get someone pregnant.

I know its pretty hard for you lot to get your heads around it but thats the way it is.

re: marriage...

Some of the trouble with understanding this is focusing too much on one aspect alone.

You might think "how would I feel if I couldn't have sex outside marriage/ how would I feel if I couldn't get divorced", etc, etc.

But if you had studied the Bible and decided to become a Christian, your whole thinking process would be different. You would see all things with a different light. A wisdom beyond our own accumulated wisdom.

One of the biggest messages in the Bible is to make a real, sustained, best effort to put other people before yourself. This is insanely difficult, but possible. Discipline, empathy, self-control, all these things take a lot of hard work. And I fail badly at most of those things :p

But the idea is that the Bible forms a complete re-education, and if you apply it as a package, if you really try to live as it says you should, you begin to appreciate and understand that there is abundant logic there. There are even benefits.

Jesus says true religion shouldn't bog you down. It should set you free. He says "my yoke is light". God also says "I am the one teaching you to benefit yourselves." Here's another verse which illustrates this: "He has told you, O earthling man, what is good. And what is Jehovah asking back from you but to exercise justice and to love kindness and to be modest in walking with your God".

It's a recurring theme: living by the Bible will protect you from many situations, will teach you how to best deal with people, and can lead to genuine happiness. There's nothing about hellfire or damnation or eternal suffering. God really does view us as his children, and he wouldn't want anything but a rich, fulfilling and happy life for any of us.

You can even (after a time) appreciate that the things you thought were overly restrictive and stupid actually serve a purpose.

Now to answer your question: if all men and women had one life-long partner, within a loving marriage, surely that would have all sorts of benefits to society? No broken homes, single-parent families, abusive partners, etc.

No its not. Care to explain how marriage suddenly reduces the risk of STD infection between two people from a scientific view? There is absolutely no link at all between this.

If you have sex with a partner outside of marriage, you are no more or less likely to contract an STD than if you had married them first.

It isn't about getting marrried, it is about not having sex until you get married. If both partners do not have sex until they are married then the chances of either getting an STI are pretty low. The more promiscuous you are the more likely you are to get get an STI. So abstinence does indeed work, but only if both partners do it.

More importantly, can anyone clarify if your hurd of heaven virgins do head?

I dont know...if i die and come back ill let you know eh??...kind of a stupid question really though...seeing as no one has died, went to heaven..had a few virgins or in your words a 'hurd of virgins' lol and come back to tell us what exactly they do...

no sex before marriage and we all know the oral stops as soon as you get married :p

LOL whereas in my case i got married and got no sex whatsoever:p...

LOL yeh poor them when its quite clear that god made adam and eve and not adam and steve;).
The thing is, it's not as if individuals choose to be gay. It's wired in their brain. So in effect, God makes them be born gay, just so he can toss them into hell later! Charming!

1) No, the bible forms a complete brainwashing and 'DE-education' process, and it lacks any form of decent valid logic.

2) Seriously, most 'broken homes, single parent families, abusive partners etc' occur from within marriages, partcularly when a woman has to marry a backward, sexist and abusive fundamentalist idiot.

How exactly does monogamy stop abusive partners?
